This set comes with the coordinating dies so useful for quick die cutting! Plus NND is adding a new Halloween stencil to their collection this month! It’s called Flying Bats and it’s so much fun to use for creating Halloween scenes!!!
Giveaway alert!! NND is giving new Hoppy Halloween stamp set away to one lucky winner so make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this post to see how to win!
Inspired by the cutest bunny searching for some candies in the pumpkin, I decided to create a circle shaker card filled with sweet treats. To start, I die cut the bunny shape along with a whole bunch of sweets using the coordinating Hoppy Halloween dies from Strathmore Bristol paper and then stamped the images from Hoppy Halloween stamp set with a waterproof black ink using a stamping positioning tool and the negative part of the die cuts. Next I took a water brush and colored all the images with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush markers.
As always I’m leaving you the complete list of all the colors I used here: n.51 Lemon Yellow – n.52 Bright Yellow – n.70 Orange – n.26 Light Pink – n.25 Pink – n. 41 Light Green – n.80 Violet – n.81 Purple – n.71 Flesh Colour – n.61 Light Brown – n.67 Mustard
For the card base, I die cut twice a scalloped circle from a white cardstock and glued together the top part. Next I die cut another circle of the same dimension from a bright purple cardstock with a window inside and used it to create a shaker part that was filled with the small colored stamps from Hoppy Halloween stamp set, a few clear sequins and some matching beads. The sentiment was simply heat embossed with a white embossing powder on a piece of a black cardstock and popped on top of the card base with a foam tape along with the cute bunny.
