My first card features Darling Dragons stamp set and Darling Dragons SugarCut.

I started with Strathmore Bristol paper, VersaFine Onyx black ink and Zig Clean Colour Real Brush markers. Once die cut and stamped some images from Darling Dragons sets, I made a super simple watercoloring.

In case you’re interested, here’s the complete list of all Zig markers I used on this card: n.36 Light Blue – n.41 Light Green – n.51 Lemon Yellow – n.52 Bright Yellow – n.83 Lilac – n.61 Light Brown.

Next I took a piece of the watercolor cardstock from Tim Holtz, masked a triangle shape with a sticky tape and added Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink plus a few blue shades: Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon. I framed the inked piece using a scalloped die from Card Front Element Builder and popped it on an A2 size white card base. Finally I heat embossed the sentiment from the same Darling Dragons stamp set, arranged all the stamps and adhered them with a bit of dimension.

Next comes super adorable Bewitched stamp set and the coordinating Bewitched SugarCuts. Working on this project I switched to Neenah Solar White paper and Memento Tuxedo Black ink since my intention was to color the images with copic markers.

Here’re all the colors used here: skin E50-E51-E53-E55-R20; hair Y32-YR21-YR24-YR27; RV21-RV23-RV25-RV29; B21-B24-B26; YG93-YG95-YG97; BG11-BG23; YR12-YR16; C00-C1-C3; E30-E33; R00-R24-R29.

For the card front I used the same scalloped frame from Card Front Element Builder and Distress cardstock from Tim Holtz along with a light yellow and blue inks and an ink blending tool. Before stamping the sentiment from Bewitched stamp set, I flicked a few water droplets on the background and finally assemble everything with a bit of dimension and shimmer.

Now let’s see today’s amazing introductions that include Seeing Stars stamp set and Stacked Stars SugarCut.

Both new sets are perfect for creating clean and simple cards and offer lots of possibilities to mix and match each set or use on their own.

You're A Star #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - To Seeing Stars stamp set by SugarPea Designs #sugarpeadesigns

To start, I prepared an A2 size white card base from Neenah Solar White paper and stamped the sentiment from Seeing Stars set towards the right part of the card front. To make it stand out more, I used Versafine Onyx Black ink because it’s very crisp and black plus it’s a pigment ink and that means it stays wet for a while so I could heat emboss the sentiment with a clear embossing powder for an extra texture and shine. Next I used Stacked Stars SugarCut to die cut some big and small stars from color cardstocks. Using striped and dotted stamps from Seeing Stars set I added fun patterns to a few die cuts. Last but not least, I adhered the stars to the card base playing with different dimensions and finished with a few black dots and a bit of shimmer.

Today’s Introductions include… To The Moon & Back and To Infinity & Beyond stamp sets, SugarCut To Infinity & Beyond and Star Dust.

My first card features two super fun and cute new products: To The Moon & Back stamp set and SugarCut Star Dust.

You are the Center of My Universe #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - To The Moon & Back stamp set by SugarPea Designs #sugarpeadesigns

To start, I stamped with VersaFine Onyx black ink since it’s waterproof the big image from To The Moon & Back stamp set using a watercolor paper. Then I made a simple watercoloring with regular watercolors and stamped aside the matching sentiment. Next came a watercolor galaxy background that was cut to a 3½” by 4½” rectangle and ran back and force in the die cutting machine with new SugarCut Star Dust. The die cut starts immediately transformed the watercolor background into a beautiful starry night sky. Assembling all the elements I popped some of them on foam tape for a bit of dimension.

Next comes so adorable To Infinity & Beyond stamp sets filled with incredibly cute stamps and fantastic sentiments.

Have A Blast #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - To Infinity & Beyond stamp set by SugarPea Designs #sugarpeadesigns

As always I started with the coordinating SugarCut To Infinity & Beyond and Strathmore Bristol paper die cutting an astronaut dog and a few planets. Next I aligned the negative part of the cuts into a stamping positioning tool and stamped the images from To Infinity & Beyond set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. Finally all the elements were colored with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush markers.

Here’s the complete list of all Zig markers I used here: n.36 Light Blue – n.45 Pale Green – n.47 May Green – n.51 Lemon Yellow – n.83 Lilac – n.61 Light Brown – n.62 Dark Brown – n.64 Oatmeal.

Creating the background for the first card, I ended up with an extra piece of a galaxy background and decided to play around the same layout. I heat embossed the sentiment using the same To Infinity & Beyond stamp sets and finally adhered everything to the card base with a bit of dimension.

Easy Partial Masking With Stencil (ft. Newton’s Nook Designs)

No Prob-llama #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Loveable Llamas stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Hello and welcome!!!
I’m so happy you’ve joined me today and even more excited to be on the Newton’s Nook Designs blog sharing a cute colorful card featuring some new and so amazing stuff from the NND June release along with some tips, tricks and fun techniques!!!

No Prob-llama #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Loveable Llamas stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Inspired by the incredible colors of Bolivia, I decided to play more with super ADORABLE Loveable Llamas stamp set!!! And so first of all I die cut using Loveable Llamas Die Set the cute character and a few accessories, aligned the negative part of the dies into my stamping positioning tool and stamped the outline images with a copic friendly black ink as my intention was to color everything with copic markers, of course!

Partial Masking

Next it was turn to work on the background made on a stamp edge rectangle die cut with Framework Die Set from a Bristol paper. I decided to make a partial masking as I wished to use only the bottom part of Sunscape stencil. For that I took a piece of removable sticky tape, cut the hill shape (you don’t have to be super precise at this point) and placed it on top of my stencil. Once added a green ink with an ink blending tool, I lift the sticky tape and the stencil, masked the hill part so that I could add the sky portion with a light blue ink and the same ink blending tool I used before.

Partial Masking

Finishing this project, I added the super adorable sentiment from the same Loveable Llamas stamp set, popped the colored images on a foam tape for a bit of dimension and added a few clear sequins along with a coat of a clear shimmer pen and a touch of Glossy Accents.

One Background Two Ways (ft. Reverse Confetti)

Make A Big Wish #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Birthday Wishes stamp set by Reverse Confetti #reverseconfetti

Happy Tuesday ‘Fetti’s Friends and Fans!!
I’ve popped in today to share my last post made for Reverse Confetti! It was so much fun to join their amazing Design Team last two months and I want to thank them again for this fantastic opportunity!!!

Make A Big Wish #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Birthday Wishes stamp set by Reverse Confetti #reverseconfetti

Now let’s focus on my today’s project! Do you remember me making a card using as a background Diamond Stripe Square Die? Here’s the post I’m talking about. When I used the positive part of the die on my first project, I hold in place the negative part with Press’n Seal and saved it for another card since I always try to make more out of my stamps and dies and stretch them as much as I can!

Diamond Stripe Die

So I started by popping all the tiny pieces of Diamond Stripe Square Die on a foam tape and adhering them on a square 4¼” by 4¼” white card base. Next I die cut and put back in place Candles die while I was coloring them with copic markers. I used again Press’n Seal to adhere all the tiny candles pieces on the foam tape and then placed them on the background all together. The sentiment from Birthday Wishes stamp set was simply heat embossed on a black cardstock and added on a foam tape as well.

Last but not least, I put a generous layer of a clear shimmer pen on the candles and added a coat of Glossy Accents on the candles’ flames along with a few clear sequins.

Hope you like this sweet card! As always thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic day!
