My inspiration card turned out super bright and sweet! I used new and so adorable Hey, Sugar stamp set along with Birthday Wishes one and a fun emboss resist technique! First of all I die cut using the coordinating Hey, Sugar Confetti Cuts and heat embossed a bunch of images! I used Bristol paper from Towbow this time! It’s new to me type of Bristol paper and I was really impressed with the result! The colors from Zig markers spreads very easily on top of this paper. I will experiment more with it in the future and will give you my final opinion. So hold on! Once finished with coloring, I heat embossed the sentiment from Birthday Wishes on a piece of a black cardstock, made a fun tone on tone background using Blocked Out Square Panel Confetti Cuts as a stencil and added a fun colorful stripe from new Paper Bliss pattern paper pad.

Hope you like this cute card! As always thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic day!

Reverse Confetti May Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome!!!
Today I’m hopping with the Reverse Confetti Design Team and some very special guests to celebrate their new May release!!! You’ll find a complete hop list at the bottom of this post!

Life Happens, Cake Helps #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Hey Sugar stamp set by Reverse Confetti #reverseconfetti

Since this month is all about birthdays, I came up with another cute and simple birthday card! I played more with the fantastic Hey, Sugar stamp set and the coordinating dies creating the focus point which is this delicious slice of birthday cake placed on a bright fun background that was made with new Blocked Out Square Panel die.

I started blending Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink with and ink blending tool on a piece of a white cardstock, then placed on top the die cut square panel and used it as a stencil to add a fun pattern. I also flicked a few water droplets and colorful splatters on top for a more playful look.

I slightly trimmed the background and placed it on an A2 size card base. The sentiment was heat embossed from the same  Hey, Sugar stamp set along with a chevron pattern from Pattern Blocks set.

Finally I adhered all the elements with a bit of dimension and added a few matching sequins.

COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI: DAY THREE OF THE 5th BIRTHDAY BASH (ft. Reverse Confetti)

Hello and welcome!!!
It’s the last day of COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI and today I prepared a super cute card for you!

Have A Stellar Birthday #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Moon Men stamp set by Reverse Confetti #reverseconfetti

I really love the look of the new Moon Men stamp set! These fantastic images are so darn cute and easy to use for so many occasions! This set comes with the coordinating dies and I also used here amazing new Stitched Squares die set!

Creating this card I started from a galaxy background! I took a piece of a watercolor paper and smooched on top different colors of Distress Oxide inks, drying with my heat tool each layer in between!!! Then I set it aside and started working on cute images!

I die-cut using the coordinating dies and stamped a Moon man and a few planets from Moon Men stamp set. I used Strathmore Bristol paper this time and VersaFine black ink. Then I made a super simple coloring with my Zig Clean Colour Real brush markers. At this point I also heat embossed with a white embossing powder a few stars from the same Moon Men stamp set on a galaxy background I prepared before and proceeded assembling the card! I framed my starry sky with Stitched Squares die set, die cutting a square on the additional panel and popping it on top of the galaxy background. Then I arranged the colored images and finished with a simple heat embossed sentiment and a few clear sequins.

COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI: DAY ONE OF THE 5th BIRTHDAY BASH (ft. Reverse Confetti)

Hello and welcome!!!
I’m super excited and honored to join Reverse Confetti for the months of May and June as a ‘Fetti Friend!!! And here’s my first post for the first day of their COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI!!! Yaaay!!!

Oh, Happy Day #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Hey Sugar stamp set by Reverse Confetti #craftindesertdivas

The first stamp set that I’m introducing you today is called Hey, Sugar and it comes with the coordinating dies. I really love the bold images inside this set along with super cool and fun handwritten sentiments perfect for creating any sweet paper crafting project!

I created a simple, but colorful watercolor birthday card using Hey, Sugar stamp set. I started with a watercolor cardstock and repeatedly stamped a bunch of sweet donuts with a VersaFine black ink since it’s waterproof. Then I made a super simple and splotchy watercoloring on top and once dried popped the created pattern on a A2 size pink card base. I also heat embossed the matching sentiment from the same Hey, Sugar stamp set on a piece of a black card stock with a white embossing powder and adhered it towards the bottom left corner of my card.

Since it was practically impossible not to color the sprinkles on the donuts, Nuvo White Drops added on top were a perfect finish touch to this card. They brought back the white color to the sprinkles and added a fabulous dimension and shine emulating real ones.

My second card is out of my comfort zone! But I had so much fun creating it and going to share some tips and tricks with you. So please continue reading this post!!!

So Many Candles #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Birthday Wishes stamp set by Reverse Confetti #craftindesertdivas

Creating this project I used amazing new Birthday Wishes stamp set, cute Candles and beautiful Polka Panel die sets plus new Paper Bliss pattern paper filled with incredible colors and designs!

Fist of all I prepared on a scrap piece of paper a negative cut from Candles die set and covered it with Press’n Seal Wrap. Then I die cut once more the candles out from different patter designs that comes with Paper Bliss paper pad and popped them inside the negative part of the die.

Press’n Seal hold everything together nice and steady and so I was able to add a foam tape to the bottom part and then placed the die cut candles on my card base perfectly spaced.

Before adhering the candles, I embellished a plain gray card base with fun polka dot pattern die cutting it from new Polka Panel die sets.

I also heat embossed on a black cardstock the matching sentiment using Birthday Wishes stamp set and cut it in half.

Crafting Desert Divas – April Release Replay – Hello Beautiful

Hello and welcome!

This month I was very lucky to have some time, just sit down, focus and stretch new Hello Beautiful stamp set from Crafting Desert Divas April release in four different ways and with four different coloring media.

Happy Birthday #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Hello Beautiful stamp set by Craftin Desert Divas #craftindesertdivas

My second card from these stamp focus posts is a watercolor one. Missed the first one colored with Polychromos pencils? Catch it up right here!

Happy Birthday #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Hello Beautiful stamp set by Craftin Desert Divas #craftindesertdivas

This time I used an emboss resist technique and regular watercolors. In case you’re unfamiliar with emboss resist technique, it’s a very fun and easy method to work with watercolors. I started with a watercolor paper, of course, since it holds water well and put a generous coat of the antistatic powder. Then I stamped the image with a clear sticky ink, sprinkled the fine white embossing powder on top and shook off the excess. I heat set the image and was ready to color. Since the embossed lines raise above the paper, they become an excellent guide in case you want to stay inside the stamp lines and prevent the color from spreading all over. Otherwise, like I did on my card, you can paint inside and outside the heat embossed lines and make them pop from the background revealing the pattern.Happy Birthday #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Hello Beautiful stamp set by Craftin Desert Divas #craftindesertdivas

Once the watercolor piece was dry, I die-cut it inside the stitched frame, popped the sentiment from Simply Said stamp set and finished with a few matching sequins.

That’s all for today! Hope you like this card! Need more inspiration? Please, check Craftin Desert Divas Gallery on Facebook for more amazing projects and inspiration from the Design Team, freebies and awesome giveaways! As always thanks so much for stopping by!
