Newton’s Nook Designs August Release and Giveaway – Day 2

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the Newton’s Nook Designs August Release!

All the dog people I can definitely hear you screaming right now! LOL! Today NND is adding a new dog breed to their collection!!! I’m extremely happy to introduce you a super fun, cute and absolutely aaaaa-dorable Fabulous Frenchies stamp set. All the die cut fans can get the coordinating dies for this set as well.

There’s something about the balloons that makes me happy! And so I just cannot resist to die cut with the coordinating Fabulous Frenchies dies a whole bunch of balloon cuts along with a cute puppy and a little birthday hat! The coordinating dies make the life so easy when you have to do multiple things. I used Bristol paper from Strathmore brand on this project and made the stamping with VersaFine Onyx Black ink since it’s waterproof. Next I spent some time coloring all the stamps with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush markers.

While the colored images were drying, I die cut a scalloped frame from Framework Die Set, added some light blue ink on top with an ink blending tool and heat embossed the sentiment from the same Fabulous Frenchies stamp set on a piece of a black cardstock. Once all the elements were arranged on the card base, I added a cute little bow on the puppy’s tail and a few clear sequins.
