Vintage Tea Card For The Beginners Plus Video Plus Sale From Purple Onion Designs

Thank You #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - stamps by Purple Onion Designs #purpleoniondesigns

Hello and welcome!!!

I’m so happy you’ve joined me today because I’m sharing a sweet vintage card along with a video and all the tips and tricks for the beginner carmakers that you can watch right here!

The amazing teapot and cups come from Purple Onion Designs Tea Time stamp set and the sentiment is a part of Sweet Occasions Sentiment Set. I used Strathmore Bristol paper for stamping along with VersaFine Onyx Black ink since it’s crips and waterproof.

And here’s the complete list of all TOMBOW markers used on this card: n.090, n.373, n.451, n.685, n.703, n.990.

Fussy cutting the stamped images I used Cuttie Bee scissors from EK Success brand. I really love them since these scissors are very sharp and small. Be sure to paint the cut edges with a black marker to hide any imperfection before adhering the stamps to the card base.

Tea Time stamp is one of the stamps included in the “Clearance & Overstock Sale” over at Purple Onion Designs.  The sale will run until this Monday, March 18, 2019.  The quantities are limited.  The clearance stamps will be on sale until they sell out.  Overstocked stamps will return back to regular prices once the allocated overstock quantities have sold.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Newton’s Nook Designs March Release and Giveaway – Day 2 – Floral Fringe

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the Newton’s Nook Designs March release!

All the new March products will be available for purchase on Friday, March 15th at Newton’s Nook Designs online store and other craft retailers!

Thanks A Bunch #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Floral Fringe stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Day 2 has reserved us a wonderful cluster of spring flowers that come as a one big Floral Fringe stamp set. This stamp set also have some amazing sentiments inside, but doesn’t have the coordinating dies since it was meant to use with new Frames Squared Die. A universal die is much better than the coordinating set and can be used on any project! That’s why I love the NND clever design!

Giveaway alert!! NND is giving new stamp Floral Fringe stamp set away to a lucky winner so make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this post to see how to win!

For my stop one this hop I’m sharing two ways of use of this new beautiful Floral Fringe stamp set. The first project was colored with color pencils.

Thanks A Bunch #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Floral Fringe stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

To start, I used Strathmore Toned Gray Paper and VersaMark ink that is perfect not only for embossing, but for no-line coloring too. I let the ink air dry before making my coloring and spent quite some time with playing with Polychromos and Prismacolor pencils.

Before attaching the colored piece to a bright pink square card base, I framed the flowers with a scalloped die from Frames Squared Die set and finally embellished the card with White Nuvo Drops and a few clear sequins.

The second card features a fun and easy way to make watercoloring. I heat embossed the flower cluster from Floral Fringe stamp set with Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder from Ranger. The heat embossed edges are deep and contains the color areas separated from each other. So you can drop a bit of bright color towards the center of the flowers and let it spread with clear water creating a little bit splotchy watercolor look.

Here’s the list of all TOMBOW markers I used on this project: n.126, n.133, n.452, n.606, n.620, n.703, n.725.

Once again I framed the colored piece and the heat embossed sentiment with Frames Squared Die  set and popped all the elements on a foam tape along with a few matching sequins.

Mirror Stamping and SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge #51

Thanks #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Eskimo Kisses stamp set by SugarPea Designs #sugarpeadesigns

Hello and welcome!

Today is my turn to enter into the SugarPea Designs monthly Mix It Up challenge. And I prepared this simple and cute card using a few fun techniques!

In case you want to play along, as well, here’s how you can do that: you have all month to play along and make a project using just the inspiration, just the sketch or Mix it Up and use both! It is totally up to you! You can find all the rules at SugarPea blog right here!!!

MIU

I’m still playing with my winter stamps and I chose again Eskimo Kisses stamp set and the sweet skating bear! I thought it would be fun to try a mirror stamping. Do you know how it works? All you need to have is a solid stamp. I inked well the bear stamped with VersaFine onyx Black ink and stamped first on a solid silicon stamp. Then I transferred a mirror image from a solid stamp onto a piece of a watercolor paper. I didn’t care to have a perfect impression since the bear should look like it is reflected by ice. Next I added a positive bear impression on top using the same VersaFine ink and proceeded with coloring.

As always here’s the complete list of all the TOMBOW MARKERS used on this card: n.N45, n.N79, n.451, n.515, n.565, n.620, n.623, n.636, n.673, n.723.

Next I framed the cute winter scene using a scalloped rectangle die from Card Front Element Builder and added a “Thanks” word using die cut inlay technique. It means that I die cut the sentiment and then popped it in place using a foam tape underneath the whole scalloped rectangle. Last but not least, I added a heat embossed part of the sentiment using a strip of a gray cardstock and Grateful Greetings stamp set.

Hope you like this cute and simple card! Now it’s your turn to link up your creations for a chance to win a $50 Gift Certificate from SugarPea Designs! Can’t wait to see what you create!!! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!!

In case you want to play along, as well, here’s how you can do that: you have all month to play along and make a project using just the inspiration, just the sketch or Mix it Up and use both! It is totally up to you! You can find all the rules at SugarPea blog right here!!!

Thank #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Christmas Tags Greetings stamp set by SugarPea Designs #sugarpeadesigns

To start, I die cut a Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle from Neenah Solar White paper and, helping myself with a stamping positioning tool for a perfect alignment, I created a pattern by repeatedly stamping a tree and Santa in the sleigh images from Christmas Tag Greetings set. The sentiment from Sweet Sentiments – You stamp set was heat embossed on a piece on a red cardstock and finally another bigger green Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle and a few glittery snowflakes from Snowflake Tag set finished this card.Thank #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Christmas Tags Greetings stamp set by SugarPea Designs #sugarpeadesigns

Hope you like this cute and simple card! Now it’s your turn to link up your creations for a chance to win a $50 Gift Certificate from SugarPea Designs! Can’t wait to see what you create!!! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful New Year!!!

Hello and welcome!

So happy to share with you today the first peek on the Craftin Desert Divas April release!!!

All the products from the CDD April release will be available for purchase on Friday April, 13 at Craftin Desert Divas online shop.

Thank You #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Hello Beautiful stamp set by Craftin Desert Divas #craftindesertdivas

This month CDD came up with a beautiful and elegant floral stamp set called Hello Beautiful filled with amazing magnolias so fun to color with any coloring media and big bold handwritten sentiments.

Thank You #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Hello Beautiful stamp set by Craftin Desert Divas #craftindesertdivas

Well, my first choice was on Polychromos Pencils. I decided to make a no-line coloring on a light gray background. First of all I stamped with VersaMark ink the cluster of wonderful flowers. This ink is a clear one and leaves a very light lines so that I was able to see them during the coloring and then hide below the pencil lines. I used once more the same VersaMark ink for the sentiment because it’s my favorite for the embossing as well. And finally I proceeded with coloring the image using color pencils. Honestly it took me quite a while, but I just LOVE coloring and enjoy doing it so much!!!

Thank You #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Hello Beautiful stamp set by Craftin Desert Divas #craftindesertdivas

The very last steps were a few matching sequins and some white accent made with a gel pen.

That’s all for today! Hope you like this card! Need more inspiration? Please, check Craftin Desert Divas Event Page on Facebook for more amazing projects and sneak peeks from the Design Team, freebies and awesome giveaways! As always thanks so much for stopping by!
