Today’s Introductions include… super adorable Sprout Bloom Grow stamp set and the coordinating Sprout Bloom Grow SugarCuts.
And here’s my cute bunny card perfect for every spring occasion! Today I switched to a hot pressed watercolor paper from Fabriano since I was going to use regular watercolor and needed a medium that holds water well. To start, I prepared all the die cut pieces using Sprout Bloom Grow SugarCuts and then stamped the coordinating outline images from Sprout Bloom Grow stamp set helping my self with the negative parts of the dies for a perfect alignment. I used VersaFine Onyx Black ink for stamping since it’s waterproof and finally colored all the elements with regular watercolors.
The layout was created with just released Card Front Element Builder II set. I die cut a white dotted full card front rectangle and a matching tag from Spots & Stripes Bright paper pad along with a few fishtail banners. Assembling all the elements I used foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest and a few matching sequins.

Hello and welcome!!!
I’ve popped in with a quick post today just to share a sweet Easter scene card I’ve created with stamps from Purple Onion Designs.
I mixed and matched a lot of wonderful stamps working on this project. To start, I stamped all the images on Strathmore Bristol paper using VersaFine Onyx Black ink since it’s waterproof. Next I colored all the elements using Tombow markers and finally fussy cut with small sharp scissors.
Here’re all the colors used: TOMBOW markers n.N65, n.055, n.126, n.133, n.173, n.195, n.452, n.703, n.761, n.947, n.985.
And these are all the stamps used for the spring scene: Willa Walking Bunny, Easter Eggs, Floral End Notes, Beach Grass #2 Large, Clouds, Tree Line Horizon. I prepared a regular A2 size card base and then adhered all the colored elements on top, popping some of them on a foam tape for a bit of interest and dimension. The sentiment from Sweet Occasions Sentiment Set was heat embossed on a piece of bright pink paper colored with the same shade of Tombow marker I used on the main images for a perfect match.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
Hello and welcome!!!
I’m so happy you’ve joined me today and even more excited to be on the Newton’s Nook Designs blog sharing a spring 3D flower card!
I’m playing with amazing Flower Trio Die Set and amazing Bokeh Stencil Set. You can watch all the details in the video!
To start, I inked the layer #1 of Bokeh Stencil Set with Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon Distress inks and then added Textured White Embossing Paste from Ranger through the layer #2. Next I switched to Picked Fence Life Changing Blender Brushes to add ink to the flowers and leaves from Flower Trio Die Set. I used Neenah Solar White paper for the whole project and Distress inks in Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Twisted Citron and Moved Lawn colors for the flowers and leaves.
The scalloped white frame and the stitched circle were die cut from Frames Squared Die Set. The matching flower sentiment was picked from Floral Fringe stamp set and heat embossed with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and a clear embossing powder. Finally the whole project was assembled with Multi Medium Liquid Glue and some foam tape.
Hope you like all the diminution and lovely spring colors on this card! As always thanks so much for stopping by!
Hello and welcome!
I’m super excited to be a “Guest Sweetie” today over at the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge blog! Have you heard about them? This is such a SWEET Challenge Group! For each challenge they post an amazing cupcake photo and color combo for inspiration! Everybody likes cupcakes, right?
Well, “Plaid Theme” immediately make me think about Newton’s Nook Designs Plaid Stencil Bundle. It’s a fun product that comes in two layers and offers you really infinite possibilities and combinations. Since spring is showing up here, I decided to go with yellow and teal colors and inked the first layer using Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink and the second one with Peacock Feathers shade. Next I cleaned and applied once more the second stencil layer slightly shifted since I felt like the plaid design was needed more yellow tones.
The cute girl was first die cut from Loads of Blooms Die Set and then stamped with the coordinating Loads of Blooms stamp set and a waterproof black ink since my intention was to use Tombow Markers for coloring. As always, I opted for Strathmore Bristol paper and a small water brush from Pentel.
In case you’re wondering, here’s the complete list of all TOMBOW markers used here: n.025, n.055, n.133, n.173, n.373, n.443, n.452, n.476, n.535, n.703, n.761, n.873, n.912, n.990.
To frame the spring scene, I die cut a stitched rectangle from Frames & Flags Die Set and stamped some rainy droplets from Newton’s Rainy Day stamp set with the same teal ink I used before. Since Distress inks are reactive with water, I added some water droplets on top for a more playful look. I completed the scene with a little frog from Newton’s Rainy Day stamp and die sets and the coordinating sentiment. Finally I “grounded” the whole scene by drawing a simple puddle.
Hope you like this sweet and simple card and make sure you pop over to the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge blog to see more amazing projects today! As always thanks so much for stopping by! I really appreciate your love and support!
