And here’s what I came up with. My first card features Lake Advice stamp set and Waves Stencil.
I started working with Waves Stencil and used it in two ways achieving a totally different look. On the front panel I blended a few blue-green shades of Distress inks for a colorful gradient pattern, while on the card base I applied a translucent embossing paste for a soft non distractive look. Completing the card, I stamped the sentiment on top with a black crisp ink and added a boat stamp towards the bottom along with a few clear seguins.
My second card features a SUPER ADORABLE cutie Winston from new Winston’s Lake House stamp set and the coordinating dies. I just love the idea to spend a few summer days relaxing at the lake and so I couldn’t help myself to build a little scene using new Sea Borders Die for the waves along with Land Borders die and Sky Borders Die as a stencil to complete the card.
I stamped a bunch of cute characters from Winston’s Lake House stamp set on a Bristol paper, colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and then die-cut using the the coordinating dies. I also die-cut the scene elements and ink blended some Distress inks on top. Assembling the card, I played with layers and added a lot of dimension with a foam tape and, of course, couldn’t skip some shimmer in the end!!!
