I really love this one and I’m sure you’re going to see lots of my projects in the future featuring this stamp set! It has amazing floral stamps designed in a very simple, but so adorable way! It’s a very versatile set as well that can cover all the occasions! Plus it’s so fun to use!!!

Giveaway alert!! NND is giving this stamp set away to one lucky winner so make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this post to see how to win!

Since Mother’s Day is approaching I decided to make a card for this occasion and hope it will inspire you! I thought it would be fun to use the coordinating dies to create a shaker element and fill it with “faux water”. And here’s how I made it!

For My Amazing Mother #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Lovely Blooms Stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

First of all I stamped a bunch of flowers, stems and leaves from LOVELY BLOOMS stamp set, colored them with copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating dies. I also die-cut the jar element on a white A2 size panel. Then I adjusted the flower cluster popping some elements on a foam tape. At this point I also glued directly to my card base the bottom part of the stems so that they seem to be inside the jar.

I used a heat resistant acetate for the shaker part and heat embossed the jar stamp on it using Versafine ink and a clear embossing powder. Be sure to used a ton of antistatic powder for this or you will finish with the embossing powder sticking everywhere on you acetate! In case you don’t have the heat resistant acetate, you can simply use the one you have on hand and stamp the jar with any ink suitable for slick surfaces like StazOn, for example!

I added a foam tape to my front panel and filled with sequins the shaker area before adhering it to my card base! Finally I simply heat embossed the sentiment on a black card stock with a white embossing powder and added to my card.
