Simple And Elegant Wedding Card Plus Video (ft. Newton’s Nook Designs)

I’m so happy you’ve joined me today and even more excited to be on the Newton’s Nook Designs blog sharing a simple and elegant heat embossed wedding card!

I’m playing with amazing big flower Blooming Botanicals and Wedding Frills stamp sets. For the layout I made some die cutting with Frames & Flags Die Set.

To start, I inked a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock with Hydrangea Dye ink from Simon Says Stamp using Picked Fence Life Changing Blender Brushes. Next I heat embossed large background using Blooming Botanicals stamp and VersaMark ink. It’s a great way to get more use out of such big stamps. You can achieve beautiful piece in no time at all and there’s no need to color every single flower.

The stitched frame and a flag piece used for the layout come from Frames & Flags Die Set. Finally the sentiment was added from Wedding Frills stamp set and the whole piece was embellished with lots of tone on tone sequins adhered with Multi Medium Matte glue since it dries clear.

2019 SugarPea Designs April Release: Day 4

Hello and welcome to Day 4 of our SugarPea Designs April Product Release!

Today’s Introductions include… super adorable Sprout Bloom Grow stamp set and the coordinating Sprout Bloom Grow SugarCuts.

And here’s my cute bunny card perfect for every spring occasion! Today I switched to a hot pressed watercolor paper from Fabriano since I was going to use regular watercolor and needed a medium that holds water well. To start, I prepared all the die cut pieces using Sprout Bloom Grow SugarCuts and then stamped the coordinating outline images from Sprout Bloom Grow stamp set helping my self with the negative parts of the dies for a perfect alignment. I used VersaFine Onyx Black ink for stamping since it’s waterproof and finally colored all the elements with regular watercolors.

The layout was created with just released Card Front Element Builder II set. I die cut a white dotted full card front rectangle and a matching tag from Spots & Stripes Bright paper pad along with a few fishtail banners. Assembling all the elements I used foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest and a few matching sequins.

3D Flower Card Plus Video (ft. Newton’s Nook Designs)

I’m so happy you’ve joined me today and even more excited to be on the Newton’s Nook Designs blog sharing a spring 3D flower card!

I’m playing with amazing Flower Trio Die Set and amazing Bokeh Stencil Set. You can watch all the details in the video!

To start, I inked the layer #1 of Bokeh Stencil Set with Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon Distress inks and then added Textured White Embossing Paste from Ranger through the layer #2. Next I switched to Picked Fence Life Changing Blender Brushes to add ink to the flowers and leaves from Flower Trio Die Set. I used Neenah Solar White paper for the whole project and Distress inks in Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Twisted Citron and Moved Lawn colors for the flowers and leaves.

The scalloped white frame and the stitched circle were die cut from Frames Squared Die Set. The matching flower sentiment was picked from Floral Fringe stamp set and heat embossed with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and a clear embossing powder. Finally the whole project was assembled with Multi Medium Liquid Glue and some foam tape.

Marbling Stenciling Plus Video (ft. Newton’s Nook Designs)

I’m playing with new adorable Woodland Spring stamp and die sets and amazing Bold Blooms stencil. You can watch all the details in the video!

For the marbling stenciling I used Texture Paste from Ranger and mixed it up with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink.

One Layer Watercolor Spring Scene Plus Video (ft. Purple Onion Designs)

Hello and welcome!!!
I’m so happy you’ve joined me today because I have to share a sweet spring watercolor scene with some super adorable critters from Purple Onion Designs. And I know that many of you are great fans of the cuteness!

I filmed the coloring process so if you’re interested how I do my coloring, you can watch it right here!

I built a one layer scene without masking on a cold presses watercolor paper from Arches. I used the cute fox and the frog from Free Spirits stamp set first. The other elements were added from Floral End Notes, Beach Grass #2 Large and Clouds sets. All the stamping was made with VersaFine Onyx Black ink since it’s waterproof.

The sentiment from Sweet Occasions Sentiment Set was heat embossed on a piece of a purple cardstock that I colored with the same watercolors I used on the bicycle.
