And here’s my cute summer under the sea project for you!!! I created a little scene out of fabulous new CDD Mermaid Lagoon and Sunny Smiles stamp sets! I stamped a bunch of images with a waterproof ink on a Bristol paper, colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and fussy cut with my scissors leaving a tiny white edge around.

For the background I used the same Bristol paper and die-cut the scene using new Ocean Border Die and Fancy Frame Die sets! Then I proceeded with a quick and simple ink blending using regular Distress inks. Here’s the tip how you can stretch you dies! I die-cut once more the wavy line from Ocean Border Dies and used it as a stencil for the water part giving a little bit of texture to the background! Assembling the card, popped some elements on a foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest and, of course, colds’r skip some shimmer!!!

  3. I love your card. I envy your fussy cutting skills. I don’t think I could cut out the fish, sea horse, crab and other pieces of the card nearly as well.

  4. This card is so precious! I love all of the little details at the bottom of the scene and your coloring is wonderful.
