Crafting Desert Divas – March Release Sneak Peek – Hitched
Hello and welcome!
I’m super excited to be on the Craftin Desert Divas blog today with a daily post featuring brand new and sooooooo adorable Hitched stamp set from the Craftin Desert Divas March Release.
All the products from the CDD March release will be available for purchase on Friday March, 9 at Craftin Desert Divas online shop.
I’m sure you will fall in love with the new romantic stamp set that I’m sneak peeking today! All the images from Hitched stamp set are so fabulous, elegant and dreamy! And so I went with a clean and simple design, making a focus on the stamps and coloring.
Want to recreate this cute card? Nothing more easy! Just follow the step by step tutorial I’m leaving you with.
- Take a piece of a masking paper, trace a heart shape with a pencil and cut the heat window with scissors or an exacto knife.
- Trim a rectangle from a white cardstock slightly smaller than A2 size card base (5″ x 3¾”) and place the negative part of the mask with a heart window on top.
- Add Distress Oxide ink in Picked Raspberry color with an ink blending tool.
- Then add and fix on top Hearts Galore stencil without lifting up the mask and add more color through the stencil.
- At this point remove both the stencil and the mask and set everything aside.
- Stamp the image of your choice from Hitched stamp set with a copic friendly black ink on a copic friendly paper, proceed with coloring and fussy cut it leaving a little white edge around. I’m leaving all the exact copic markers I used here at the bottom of this post.
- Start assembling the card by preparing an A2 size card base from a light gray cardstock, stamping the sentiment from Simply Said set with the same black ink you used before for a perfect match and popping up some elements on a foam tape for a bit of dimension.
That’s all for today! Hope you like this cute and simple card! Need more inspiration? Please, check Craftin Desert Divas Event Page on Facebook for more amazing projects and sneak peeks from the Design Team, freebies and awesome giveaways! As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Adding Sparkling Finishing Touches (ft. Craftin Desert Divas)
Happy Monday!
Sharing today my favorite ways to add a little bit of magic to your handmade cards, tags, scrapbook layouts and other paper crafting projects.
My choice was a super magical and just adorable Believe stamp set from Craftin Desert Divas. I made a clean and simple card with a light ink blended background using Distress Oxide ink in Peacock Feathers color. The cutie unicorn was stamped with a copic friendly black ink on Neenah Solar White paper and colored with copic markers. Please, see all the exact marker numbers I used here at the bottom of this post. I also first die-cut and then colored with the same shades of copic markers I used before for a perfect match the stitched rainbow from Rainbow Die set. Once everything was adhered on the card base, I proceeded with a few finish touches that gave something little extra and a bit of magic to this cute card.
First of all I used Sheer Shimmer Spray and flicked a few drops here and there on the background. That gave me a splotchy look with a slight shimmer. It’s hard to catch in the picture, but in real life when it reflects the light, the result is really gorgeous! Another of my favorites and a must have on all the cards is Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Marker. I added a generous coat both on the cutie unicorn and the copic colored rainbow for a special fairy dust effect. And finally come Crystal Clear Drops from Nuvo. These are really perfect for an extra special and dimensional, but not distractive finishing touch. I like to add them here and there, arranging in visual triangles.
That’s all for today! Hope you like this cute and simple card! As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Crafting Desert Divas – January Release Replay – Get Well
Happy Friday!
It’s another release replay of the Craftin Desert Divas January reveals.
Today I’m sharing a clean and simple card featuring adorable Get Well stamp set! This is my “boy” take on this cute stamp set. (In case you’ve missed the “girl” version, you can catch it up right here.)
I grabbed and stamped a few cute images with a copic friendly black ink on a copic friendly paper as my intention was to color with copic markers, of corse. Scroll down towards the bottom of this post in case you are interested to find all the exact colors I used here. Then I fussy cut all the colored stamps leaving a little white edge around and started working on the card base. I die-cut twice the medium circle with Inside Scalloped Circle Die set: once on the edge on a white cardstock and then from a masking paper. I used the negative part of the masking paper to mask the circle directly on the card base while I was adding a light yellow ink blended background with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink and some dots with a regular white embossing paste through Sorted Shapes Stencil. Once the embossing paste was dry, I started assembling the card, giving a bit of dimension with a foam tape and added a heat embossed sentiment from Simply Said stamp set.
That’s all for today! Hope you like this cute and simple card! As always thanks so much for stopping by and have a fabulous week-end!!!

Crafting Desert Divas – January Release Replay – Up, Up & Away
Hello and welcome!
PLEASE SCROLL DOWN OR CLICK HERE FOR THE NEWTON’S NOOK DESIGNS RELEASE DAY 3 AND GIVEWAWAY POST!!!
I’ve popped in with a super quick post to give you another look at the adorable Up, Up & Away stamp set from the Craftin Desert Divas January release!
I’ve come up with another clean and simple card combining watercolor background with the copic coloring made on the stamp itself. I prefered to use a limited color palette and chose complimentary colors to make the image pop out!
For the cutie from Up, Up & Away stamp set I used a copic friendly black ink, Neenah Solar White paper and my favorite Cutter Bee scissors for fussy cutting. The background was die-cut from Stitched In Circle Dies set. Finally I added the heat embossed sentiment, the Moon and a few stars from Happy Camper stamp set along with some matching sequins and a shimmer pen.
That’s all for today! Hope you like this cute and simple card! Need more inspiration? Please, check my sneak peeks post right here in case you missed it! As always thanks so much for stopping by!
