Hello and welcome!

Today I’ve popped in with a fun project: shaped trifold birthday card featuring some FABULOUS stamp sets from the Newton’s Nook Designs August release!!!

NND has just came out with three stamp sets Believe In Unicorns, Knight’s Quest and Once Upon A Princess joined by the fairytale theme that are so fun to mix and match creating cute scenes! And so I thought to create some sort of a story book in a trifold card!

Using the coordinating dies, I die cut a bunch of amazing characters from all the sets, aligned the negative part of the die in my stamping positioning tool and stamped them all with a waterproof ink. Then I made a super simple watercoloring with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and set all the colored pieces aside while I was working on the card base. Scroll down towards the bottom of this post in case you’re interested in the exact colors I used here!

I made scoring lines from each side at 3½” and achived three equal parts that transformed my card base into a trifold card! I used NND Sky Borders die set as a stencil and as a die on the top part on every card panel and added the inkbleneded green “land” at the botton of the second and third panels, die cutting a mask from NND Land Borders die set! The sentiment from Knight’s Quest set was stamped with a matching black ink at the bottom of the inner part and finally all the stamped images were adhered directly to the card base to keep the card flat while it’s closed.

Of course, a touch of some magic with a clear shimmer pen was a must for this fairy project!

As always thank so much for stopping by!!!

Tatiana
