Newton’s Nook Designs May Release and Giveaway – Newton Scoots By

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of the Newton’s Nook Designs May Release!

I’m so excited to introduce you another stamp set featuring my ever favorite Newton!!! It has a little bit of Italian style since the adorable mischief scoots by on “Vespa” motorcycle and reminds me so much Roman Holiday movie! I think it could be easily paired  with NEWTON DREAMS OF ITALY stamp set revealed just yesterday! If you missed it, you can catch up the post right here!

This new super cute stamp set is called NEWTON SCOOTS BY and it comes along with the coordinating dies. No need to tell you that I’m IN LOVE with it!!! It has a few fantastic sentiments and it’s great for any paper crafting project and especially for interactive cards!

I came up with a super simple, clean and bright card today!

Stating working with a copic friendly paper and ink, I stamped the cute kitty from NEWTON SCOOTS BY stamp set and spent some time coloring him with copic markers. As always I’m leaving all the exact numbers of markers used at the bottom of this post, but don’t feel like you need to have copic markers or make a super fancy coloring! With this fantastic image you can’t go wrong! Just grab any coloring media you have on hand and have fun!

Since I’ve put so much in coloring, I decided to make a simple background and keep the main focus on the kitty. I die-cut the colored stamp, a few white clouds and a small heart with the coordinating dies that come with NEWTON SCOOTS BY set along with a simple circle and added color to the background inkblending Distress inks.

Finally I simply stamped with the same black ink I used before the matching sentiment and added a few sequins. Some finish touches – a bit of shimmer from Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter pen and a coat of Glossy Accents –  completed the card.
