Hello everyone and happy Monday!
A new Newton’s Nook Designs Inky Paws Challenge #46 starts today and I just couldn’t not play along! This is my inspiration projects for you!
The current challenge is a sketch one. I like sketch challenges and hope you’ll play along as well, just make a project inspired by the graphic you see below paired with at least one Newton’s Nook Designs brand stamp or die and upload it here for a chance to win a store credit at Newton’s Nook Designs online shop. You can create a card, a tag, a scrapbook page, a treat bag or any other projects related to the papercrafting.
Today I played once more with the amazing Lovely Blooms stamp set. I love it so much and just couldn’t stop playing again and again! Plus it’s so perfect for spring cards!
This card came out very quickly. I die-cut a bunch of flowers and leaves using the coordinating Lovely Blooms die set and made my stamping using the negative part left from the die-cuts and a stamping positioning tool. I used a copic friendly paper pared with a copic friendly black ink and finished with a super simple coloring. The card base was made out of a watercolor paper. I smooched a very light blue ink using a piece of clear plastic and added some water droplets on top to create a splotchy background. The personalized sentiment from Simply Relative stamp sets was heat embossed on a piece of a black cardstock and I left nothing to do, but arrange all the element and glue them together.
