Newton’s Nook Designs Inky Paws Challenge #100 Plus Video

Hello and welcome!

So happy that you’ve joined me today since I’m taking part at the Newton’s Nook Designs Inky Paw Challenge #100! Wow!!! What a great occasion to get the paws extra inky!

I like to challenge myself and so, working on this project, I decided to combine the Sketch Challenge #1 with the Color Challenge #76 since its colors are the same as on Italian flag and the Theme Challenge #19 (use watercolors). Plus I used one of my favorites Newton Dreams of Italy stamp set!

For the die cutting, I used Newton Dreams of Italy and Frames & Flags Die sets. The kitty was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and for the background I switched to a medium gray dye ink, but both elements were made on Fabriano Hot Pressed Extra White Watercolor paper.

The sentiment comes from the same Newton Dreams of Italy stamp set and was heat embossed on a piece of a black cardstock with VersaMark clear sticky ink and a fine white embossing powder.
