Happy Thursday!
I’m so happy you’ve joined me today and even more excited to be on the Newton’s Nook Designs blog sharing a fun and cute interactive spinner card!
Well, today I came up with the idea how to stretch the coordinating dies and get more use out of them. I played with the super adorable Holding Happiness stamp set from NND March release and the coordinating Holding Happiness Die Set of course. Since the lady with a giant birthday cake is almost symmetrical, I thought that it would be super easy to make an interactive birthday card. In fact, I didn’t have to do the mirror stamping in this case, but only die-cut and stamped twice the same image.
Once finished coloring both stamps with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush markers, I started working on the background and prepared an A2 size card base plus another additional panel to go on top. Next I made a simple non distracting pattern, blending Distress Oxide inks in Fossilized Amber and Worn Lipstick colors trough Bubbly stencil. I die-cut a circle on both layers and glued together two colored images and with a tiny twine between the layers. Finally I adhered the patterned panel to the card base and heat embossed the sentiment from the same Holding Happiness stamp set I used before.
That’s all for today! Hope you like this cute card! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic day!
