You probably know how I like stretching my craft supplies and get more creative and non traditional use out of them! Well, today I managed to transform a fall stamp into a Christmas one! Curios how I did that?
I started with a kraft piece of paper and Eucalyptus Wreath stamp set that was heat embossed with a fine gold embossing powder. Next I colored all the leaves with color pencils. Easy peasy since the leaves are small and you don’t have to deal with any fancy blending. Next I framed the colored wreath using Card Front Element Builder set and prepared the sentiment from Sending Sentiments set. For that I heat embossed and fussy cut the word “Sending” on a piece of vellum and I added a second part of the phrase on a narrow red stripe embossed’ with the same white embossing powder I used before. Assembling the card, I wrapped around a red and white baker twine and added Nuvo Drops in Red Berry color for an extra Christmas touch.

Beautiful Card. Using the nuvo drops makes your wreath almost pop off the card.
the berries look like you could pluck them off
the card. The wreath is gorgeous. You
don’t really realize that they are leaves.

I really like how you made the curved bottom upon the layered cardstock for the bottom of your card. It really allows the focal point of the wreath to be showcased. A wonderful coloring job!
