Wish Card Plus Video (ft. Newton’s Nook Designs)

Wish #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Newton's Antics stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Hello and welcome!!!
I’m so happy you’ve joined me today and even more excited to be on the Newton’s Nook Designs blog sharing a cute kitty card made with some basic craft supplies and old, but still favorites Newton’s Antics and Playful Pandas stamp sets!

Please, watch the video tutorial below for all the details!

To start, I stamped the fun kitty from Newton’s Antics and a small ballon from Playful Pandas stamp sets on Strathmore Bristol paper with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. For the background I prepared a stitched rectangle die cut from Frames & Flags Die Set where I added pinky clouds by inking Clouds stencil. Once heat set and fussy cut the stamped images I proceeded with coloring.

Today I played with TOMBOW markers and here’s the complete list of all the colors used on this project: TOMBOW N57, N79, 723, 835, 873, 885.

Assembling all the elements together, I added “W”, “S” and “H” letters from Essential Alphabet Die Set to form the word “WISH” on the card base where the kitty took the place of the letter “i”. I also added a scalloped border from Sky Borders Die Set since it matches the cloud shape. The kitty was popped on a foam tape for a fun dimensional look and a few pinky sequins finished this card.

Hope this sweet project will inspire you to flip through your stash and give a second life to the old stamps and dies!

As always thanks so much for stopping by!
Tatiana
