Hello and welcome to the final day the Newton’s Nook Designs August release!
All the new August products will be available for purchase on Friday, August 23th at Newton’s Nook Designs online store and other craft retailers!
The last day of the August release has reserved us two super fun and cute Witchy Newton and Happy Howl-oween stamp sets. Both come with the coordinating dies. Plus NND is revealing another awesome product: a frightfully sweet Ghosts stencil.
Giveaway alert!! NND is giving both new stamp sets away to lucky winners so make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this post to see how to win!
My first card features Witchy Newton stamp and die sets. Once again I started with Neenah Solar White paper and MFT Black Hybrid ink because they work great with copic markers.
And here’re all the numbers of copic markers used on this project: cat E40-E41-E42-E43-E44; YG00-YG01-YG13-YG67; V04-V05-V06-V09-FV2; Y17-YR16-YR18; RV00-RV02; C3; 100.
I added an additional rectangle panel on top of the white card base where were partially die cut three circles. I used one of them to stamp the sentiment from the same Witchy Newton set, the other was inked with yellow ink to emulate the Moon and the third one – with the matching yellow, orange and violet colors already used on the Witchy Newton. Finally I added a few black glittery bats die cut from Halloween Trio Die Set.
Next come super adorable dogs from Happy Howl-oween stamp set. I used the same materials as on my first card for stamping and Happy Howl-oween Die Set for the die cutting. I colored the dogs with copic markers.
As always I’m leaving you the exact colors of copic markers used here: dog YR30-E30-E31-E33-E35; dog W00-W3-W5-W7-100; YG00-YG01-YG03-YG13-YG67; V04-V05-V06-V09; YR12-YR16-YR18-YR21; Y00-Y02-Y15; R11.
I masked and inked with Wilted Violet Oxide and Black Soot Distress inks a circle window behind the cute Halloween couple.
I also added black shiny metallic bats through Flying Bats stencil along with a few die cut elements covered with a clear shimmer pen. I loooove to work with die cut sentiments and so I decided to add one from Halloween Trio Die Set as a final element for this project.
