All dog people you have no reason to think that NND forgot about you! In fact, day two of their June release is dedicated to amazing doggy sentiments from Say Woof stamp set and wonderful Woof Stencil! All the new stuff coordinates obviously with just released yesterday Pawprint Shaker Die!

Today I decided to illustrate you how to make a shaker element in a different way by using Pawprint Shaker Die.

To start, I took a piece of a watercolor cardstock from Tim Holtz inked it with Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade Distress inks. Next I applied on top new Woof Stencil and inked it again with the same colors and a little heavier hand. I die cut a stitched rectangle inside the patterned piece using Frames & Frags Die Set and adhered a clear acetate from the back side. Before sealing the shaker window I filled it with dog related elements die cut from Pawprint Shaker Die. I decided to put of top a matching paw shape die cut from a light gray cardstock with the same Pawprint Shaker Die. The sentiment from Say Woof stamp set was simply heat embossed on a clear part. Finally the coordinating “Woof” word die finished this card.

  1. Darling shaker card! Love the Pawprint Shaker, and it’s awesome that it comes with extras that are for kitties too!

  2. This is such a fun card with the lovely soft colors. The stencil is so cute and I love all the little dies that you have in the shaker paw.
