Newton’s Nook Designs May Release and Giveaway – Day 4

Hello and welcome to the final day of the Newton’s Nook Designs May release!

All the new May products will be available for purchase on Friday, May 17th at Newton’s Nook Designs online store and other craft retailers!

Newton’s Nook Designs just cannot disappoint all dog people and so the final day of the release has reserved us a super adorable doggy stamp set filled with furry friends that come in all shapes and sizes. The set is called Walking Woofs and you can get the coordinating dies too.

Walking Woofs Die Set come with an extra “Happy” word die and I just cannot escape from using it on my card! To start, I die cut the lady with the dogs plus a few “Happy” words from Neenah Solar White paper. Next I stamped the coordinating outline image from Walking Woofs stamp set, helping myself with the negative part of the dies for a perfect alignment, and colored everything with copic markers.

And here’s the complete list of all copic markers I used on this project: RV0000-RV00-RV10-RV13-RV14, YG01-YG13; Y11-Y21-Y35-Y17; YR30-YR31-YR24-YR27, BG10-BG11-BG13; E000-E02; E30-E31-E33-E35-E37, E50-E51-E53-E55, W00-W1-W3, T0-T1-T3.

I prepared a regular A2 size card base and blended some light blue ink to create a sky background. Next I added a lemon green grass shape strip die cut with Land Borders Die Set.

Before adding the colored piece, I stamped one part of the sentiment directly on the card front and added the “happy” word cut below, stacking some layers one on top of the other. A few clear sequins and some dash lines made with a white gel pen added a finish touch to this project.
