Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the Newton’s Nook Designs May release!

Newton’s Nook Designs always comes with a variety of wonderful designs in each release and so after cute kitties, today we have beautiful Dainty Daisies stamp set that comes with the coordinating dies.

Working on today’s project I switched to copic markers. This means that I started with Neenah Solar White paper and Hybrid black ink from MFT. As always first I die cut the daisies using the coordinating Dainty Daisies Die Set and then stamped on top the coordinating outline image helping myself with the negative part of the dies for a perfect alignment.
And here’s the complete list of all copic markers I used on this project: RV0000-RV00-RV02-RV04-RV17; G40-G43-G46 plus YG21; Y31-Y35-Y28.
The background was maid with some creative masking. I die cut a circle from a masking paper and used the negative part of the die to ink a light blue circle in the center of the card front. Next I applied with a white embossing paste tiny starts through just released yesterday Cascading Stars stencil and let everything air dry. Meanwhile I heat embossed the sentiment from the same Dainty Daisies stamp set on a strip of a black cardstock. Finally I assembled all the elements with a bit of dimension and a few matching sequins.
