Hello and welcome!!!
I’m so happy you’ve joined me today and even more excited to be on the Newton’s Nook Designs blog sharing a cute colorful card featuring some new and so amazing stuff from the NND June release along with some tips, tricks and fun techniques!!!
Inspired by the incredible colors of Bolivia, I decided to play more with super ADORABLE Loveable Llamas stamp set!!! And so first of all I die cut using Loveable Llamas Die Set the cute character and a few accessories, aligned the negative part of the dies into my stamping positioning tool and stamped the outline images with a copic friendly black ink as my intention was to color everything with copic markers, of course!
Next it was turn to work on the background made on a stamp edge rectangle die cut with Framework Die Set from a Bristol paper. I decided to make a partial masking as I wished to use only the bottom part of Sunscape stencil. For that I took a piece of removable sticky tape, cut the hill shape (you don’t have to be super precise at this point) and placed it on top of my stencil. Once added a green ink with an ink blending tool, I lift the sticky tape and the stencil, masked the hill part so that I could add the sky portion with a light blue ink and the same ink blending tool I used before.
Finishing this project, I added the super adorable sentiment from the same Loveable Llamas stamp set, popped the colored images on a foam tape for a bit of dimension and added a few clear sequins along with a coat of a clear shimmer pen and a touch of Glossy Accents.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic day!
Tatiana
