I’m so happy you’ve joined me today and even more excited to be on the Newton’s Nook Designs blog sharing a fun and cute card with the adorable Company of Cats!
Well, today’s card is definitely not a clean and simple one! I mixed and matched a lot of amazing products from Newton’s Nook Designs creating it. First of all I started by stamping Company of Cats stamp set on Neenah Solar White paper with a copic friendly ink. I looooove this big stamp set because it’s so clever and easy to use! Plus who doesn’t like cats? Right?! I stamped the stack of kitties once more on a masking paper and fussy cut with my scissors. Then I placed the mask on top of the first image and stamped last time the cute company so that it filled the whole card front.
Next I grabbed my copic markers and just enjoyed the coloring process. Please, check all the exact copic marker numbers I used here at the bottom of this post. I prepared a light pink card base and added a fun dotted pattern to the background using Bubbly stencil and a white embossing paste. While the background was drying, I started working on the sentiment. One part of it was heat embossed from Birthday Essentials stamp set and the other die-cut from Balloon Shaker Die. Finally I decided to add a birthday twist to this card with cute birthday accessories that come from the same Balloon Shaker Die set. Assembling the whole project, I popped some elements on a foam tape for some dimension and added a generous coat of shimmer with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen.

What a fabulous card! The white dots on the pink base makes the perfect background for the business of all the cats. The party hats are a great addition. Love it!!
