My first card features gorgeous Lemon Twist stamp set. I love the amazing design and the size of the stamps very much and so I decided to challenge myself with a CAS style and no-line coloring.
I trimmed a piece of Neenah Solar White paper slightly smaller than a regular A2 size card base and stamped the lemon slice with a light yellow ink. I also prepared a mask out of a masking paper so that I could add a whole fruit behind with the same light yellow ink I used before.
I colored the stamps with copic markers first and then added some details with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils blending together different colors.
Here’re the colors of the copic markers used on this card: COPIC Y00-Y11-Y13-Y15; YG21-YG93-YG95-YG97.
The super fun Gull Friends were stamped with Hybrid black ink from MFT and colored with copic markers too.
I used here COPICS T0-T1-T2-T3-T5-T7; Y11-Y17-Y18; YR23-YR27-E08-E39-E49; RV00.
I prepared a regular A2 size card base plus another slightly smaller rectangle where I partially die cut a circle window. Creating a little sea scene I inked waves and clouds through new Waves & Splashes and Clouds edge stencils with two different shades of blue inks. I also added a die cute wave line in front of the Gull Friends by die cutting it from Sea Borders Die Set.
Arranging all the elements on a foam tape, I added a simply stamped sentiment from Gull Friends set on a die cut Speech Bubble and finished with a few matching sequins.
Last but definitely not least comes adorable kitty from Newton’s Melon stamp and die sets. Once again I used Neenah Solar White paper and MFT Hybrid black ink paired with copic markers for coloring the sweetest stamp.
Here’s the complete list of all the color used: COPIC cat E40-E41-E42-E43-E44-E49 plus T1 and R11-R12; YG00-YG01-YG05-YG09; R02-R05-R09-R89; 100.
I decided to keep the whole project with a limited color combo and so I inked pink clouds through new Clouds edge stencil with Worn Lipstick and Abandoned Coral Distress inks. The grass portion was added through another new Hills & Grass edge stencil with Twisted Citron and Moved Lawn Distress inks. I framed the sweet summery scene with Frames & Flags Die Set and popped on a 4 Bar while card base since it fitted better the size of the stamp.
