I’m stretching again my craft supplies making this birthday boy autumn feeling shaker card.
The cute little koalas from All Hands On Deck stamp set by Create A Smile are so versatile and can be easily transformed to suit your occasion. Basically on this card with no fancy techniques at all I interpreted the summer scheme stamp as an autumn one only by switching to the Halloween colors. Then I added a birthday sentiment from Mini Birthday stamp set that says “Let’s celebrate… Once again… It’s Your Birthday” (stamped inside the card) and finished to have a birthday card for my little nephew’s October birthday! Isn’t this card turned out super fun?!
All the images were stamped with a waterproof ink, watercolored with Mijello Mission Gold watercolors and hand cut leaving a little white border around. I used the same circle die both for die-cutting the shaker area and shaping the sentiment so that it could match perfectly the circle part.
This card is also my entry to the Create A Smile September challenge – “CIRCLE” since the whole scene were built around the circle shaker area.
