Hello and welcome!
I’m so excited to join STAMPtember with our friends at Simon Says Stamp and share with you a wonderful Shiver Me Timbers stamp set created by SugarPea Designs exclusively for this event! There is also a coordinating die set and you can purchase them as a bundle or separately!
Please take note that this set is exclusive to Simon Says Stamp, so it’s the only place you will find it, and only while supplies last! Don’t wait too long to get yours! You can find it HERE.
Here’s your look at Shiver Me Timbers bundle.
And here’s what I came up with for you today! A fun and cute pirate card perfect to send a kind message to your love ones and friends! To start, I die cut using my Big Shot machine and the coordinating Shiver Me Timbers die set all the shapes I needed for this project. I worked on my favorite Neenah Solar White paper since it’s copic friendly. I save all the negative parts of the dies and used them inside the MISTI tool for a perfect alignment while I was stamping the open images from Shiver Me Timbers stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Finally I colored all the stamps with copic markers. So easy!!! Right?!
In case you’re wondering, I’m leaving you the complete list of all the colors used on this card: COPIC R20-R32-R14-R46-R89; G20-G24-G94; B91-B93-B95-B97; C00-C0-C2-C4; W1-W3-W5-W7; E41-E42-E44; skin E50-E51-E53-E55; monkey E30-E23-E25-E29; Y15; YR24.
An extended A2 size white card base (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″) was made from the same Neenah Solar White paper that I used for stamping and coloring. The faux old piece of paper used as a background was teared by hand to the desirable size and then “aged” with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink. Finally I assembled all the elements together using a foam tape for a fun dimensional look and finished with a heat embossed sentiment and and a few clear sparkling sequins.
Hope you like this cute pirate scene! As always thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!!
