The Newton’s Nook Designs’ Design Team is kicking off this week with amazing new Farming Fun stamp set filled with lots of tractor and construction machine images that will make the creation of boy and masculine cards super simple and easy! On my stop of this hop you’ll find a simple slimline birthday card with a pop of bright colors. To start, I took a piece of Strathmore Bristol paper and die cut all the elements I needed for this project using the coordinating Farming Fun Die Set. I used my MISTI tool and the negative parts of the dies for the alignment to stamp the open images from Farming Fun stamp set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. Finally the stamps were colored with water based marker. Easy! Right?!
As always, I’m leaving you all the exact colors used on this project: TOMBOW MARKERS N15, N45, 026, 055, 062, 528, 845, 847, 905, 925.
The layout was created with new Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set. I die cut the long stitched rectangle and the white flags from Neenah Solar White paper to match the card card base. I ran the long frame die again through my Big Short machine with gingham patterned paper and then assemble all the elements together adding a simply stamped sentiment from Farming Fun stamp set on one of the white flags and a few clear sparkling sequins as a finish touch.
