Hello and welcome!!!
I’m so happy you’ve joined me today and even more excited to be on the Newton’s Nook Designs blog sharing a cute card with a winter scene!

Noel #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Deer Friend stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

I mixed and matched a lot of fun stuff creating this project! The cutest critters were die cut with the coordinating Deer Friend Die Set and then stamped using Deer Friend stamp set with My Favorite Things Hybrid Black Ink since it’s copic friendly. I’ve also added a few festive Santa’s hats from Ornamental Newton stamp set.

And here’re all the exact copic markers I used on my card: E30-E31-E33-E35-E37; R000-R11; Y00-Y21; R35-RV29-R39; YG01-YG17; C1-C3; 100.

For the background I used Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon Distress inks along with Forest Scene Builder and Land Borders Die Sets. The big bold sentiment from Sentiments Of The Season stamp set was heat embossed with a fine white embossing paste and finally the falling snow effect was added through Petite Snow stencil.

Arranging all the layers on the card front I used Multi Medium Matte adhesive since it dries clear and then popped the other elements on a foam tape. Finally I embellished my winter scene with Stickles glitter glue in Xmas Red and Star Dust colors.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!
Tatiana

Personalized Birthday Card Plus Video (ft. Newton’s Nook Designs)

It's Your Birthday #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - stamp and die sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Hello and welcome!!!
I’m so happy you’ve joined me today and even more excited to be on the Newton’s Nook Designs blog sharing my personalized birthday card!

It's Your Birthday #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - stamp and die sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

I mixed and matched a lot of fun stuff creating this project! First of all I made my own stencil using the balloon die from Fabulous Frenchies die set. Next I added balloon strings using the coordinating Fabulous Frenchies stamp set and a partial masking technique. You can watch all the process right here.

For the background I used Mustard Seeds, Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch Distress inks. The big balloon in the center of the card front comes from Balloon Shaker die set. You can easily give a personalized twist to your cards using alphabet and number dies. My “18” comes from Essential Alphabet die set. The tiny heat embossed sentiment is from cute Newton’s Birthday Bash stamp set. And finally for the accessories I used Fabulous Frenchies stamp and die sets (the same from the background) plus Papa Bear stamp and die sets and Cosmic Newton die set for tiny stars.

As promised, here’re all the exact copic markers I used on my card: RV21, Y02, YG01, BV02.

sweet to repeat blog hop

You probably know how I like stretching my craft supplies and get more creative and non traditional use out of them! Well, today I managed to transform a fall stamp into a Christmas one! Curios how I did that?

Sending Christmas Cheer #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Eucalyptus Wreath stamp set by SugarPea Designs #sugarpeadesigns

I started with a kraft piece of paper and Eucalyptus Wreath stamp set that was heat embossed with a fine gold embossing powder. Next I colored all the leaves with color pencils. Easy peasy since the leaves are small and you don’t have to deal with any fancy blending. Next I framed the colored wreath using Card Front Element Builder set and prepared the sentiment from Sending Sentiments set. For that I heat embossed and fussy cut the word “Sending” on a piece of vellum and I added a second part of the phrase on a narrow red stripe embossed’ with the same white embossing powder I used before. Assembling the card, I wrapped around a red and white baker twine and added Nuvo Drops in Red Berry color for an extra Christmas touch.

Christmas Card With Summer Stamps Plus Video (ft. Newton’s Nook Designs)

May Your Holidays Sparkles #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Cozy Campers stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Hello and welcome!!!
I’m so happy you’ve joined me today and even more excited to be on the Newton’s Nook Designs blog sharing my first Christmas card this year!

May Your Holidays Sparkles #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Cozy Campers stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Flipping through my stash, I found the adorable camper stamps from Cozy Campers set and thought that the small camper with the lights would be perfect for a Christmas card. I die cut a bunch of elements for my scene from Cozy Campers and Snow Globe Scenes die sets and next stamped the matching images from Cozy Campers and Snow Globe Scenes stamp sets using Memento Tuxedo Black ink since it’s copic friendly.

The circle window was added to the card front from Snow Globe Scenes Shaker die set and the amazing sentiment from Sentiments of the Season was simply stamped with the same black ink I used before. The versatile Bubbly stencil added a falling snow effect along with Snow Marker from Marvy brand and Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter. And now I’m leaving you with video tutorial!!!

As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Treat Yourself #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Newton's Summer Treats stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

As you know I love to make look the kitties on my cards as my sweet furry babies. I have two Sacred Birman cats that are very similar to Siamese cats except of white paws called “gloves”. Today I finally filmed a video tutorial for you with a coloring process. I used Zig Clean Colour Real Brush markers, but any water based markers will work the same. As always I’m leaving you the complete list of all the colors I used on this project at the bottom of this post.

Working on the background, I used NND amazing and so versatile Bubbly stencil.
