No need to tell you that this shaker bundle has infinite possibilities of use and will suit any paper crafting project! And so my first card shows it in action!
I combined here Snow Globe Shaker Die and some stamps from Snow Globe Scenes that were heat embossed with a white embossing powder on a gradient watercolor background! I’m also super excited to announce that NND is bringing to their shop the coordinating accessories essential for making the shaker snow globe element. My readers probably know that I never had a success die-cutting a foam and used to stuck a few layers of the cardstock building shaker elements! Well, I was really AMAZED with this fabulous double-sided foam! I ran the shaker frame from Snow Globe Shaker Die set back and forth in my Big Shot machine using the platform closed for the wafer thin dies and the foam was cut out and hold the shape perfectly! Wow!!!
I used two layers of the foam tape assembling this card to bring more space inside for the beads and sequins, but you can definitely use only one layer since this foam is quite thick! And, of course, I just couldn’t not to use the “merry” die because I’m a big fan of sentiment dies and love adding them to my designs. Finally the heat embossed small word Christmas from Simply Seasonal stamp set finished this card.
My second card is totally different and shows you how to use Snow Globe Scenes stamp set by itself since it filled with a whole bunch of the cute images great to build cute winter or holiday scenes.
Creating this simple card, I decided to use my copic markers and traditional Christmas colors! I stamped some images directly on top of the card base while the other elements were die-cut with the coordinating dies and added with a bit of dimension toward the bottom part on the card front. The sentiment was simply stamped with the same black ink I used for the scene stamps and a few clear sequins added a finish touch.
