Last but not least we have today a stamp set featuring my ever favorite mischief Newton in new and SOOOOO AAAAAA-DORABLE Newton’s Kitchen stamp set! In case you’re interested, this stamp set comes with the coordinating dies!!!

Giveaway alert!! NND is giving new Newton’s Kitchen stamp set away to one lucky winner so make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this post to see how to win!

I started working on my card from the background since I was not sure about the color combo I wanted to use here. First of all took a piece of Distress cardstock, tipped new Serene Stripes stencil on top and applied Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink with and ink blending tool trying to make an ombré effect. Since the background was looking to me too colorful and could overwhelm over the images I added lately, I decide to move the stencil a little bit and apply a white embossing paste on top. I loved the result this time and so I set everything apart and let it air dry while I was working with the main images.

When I first saw  Newton’s Kitchen stamp set, I immediately thought that it would be a fabulous addition to the Made From Scratch stamp set. And so I stamped some cute images from both stamp sets on Strathmore Bristol paper, die cut the cute kitty with the coordinating dies and fussy cut all the others leaving a little white edge around since I don’t have the dies for that set. I colored all the elements with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush markers and heat embossed the fantastic sentiment from the same Newton’s Kitchen set on a piece of a black cardstock. Finally I assembled all the elements with a bit of dimension and adhered a couple of matching sequins.

One last thing!!! NND fans had requested the coordinating dies for some “old” sets and so tomorrow along with the new June release, you’ll find 3 coordinating die sets for summer favorites at the NND online store!!!
