Hello and welcome to the last day of the Newton’s Nook Designs May Release!

Sorry for posting these cards a bit late, but I have an urgent family issue. You know, life happens… Ok, now let me illustrate you the cutest mischief ever in two fantastic new Newton Loves Boxes and Newton’s Donut stamp sets! Both sets come with the coordinating dies.

I definitely can hear you screaming: “These are super cute and my favorites!!! Absolutely must have!!!” Right??? LOL!!!

Working with Newton Loves Boxes stamp set, I die cut with the coordinating dies, stamped and watercolored three fun images! Of course, I used my win win combo for that: Strathmore Bristol paper, Zig Clean Colour Real Brush markers and a small water brush from Pentel. Scroll down to see all the exact colors I used for both cards!!! A square 4½” x 4½” card base was decorated with some paw prints using Pawprint stencil and a white embossing paste. The sentiment from the same Newton Loves Boxes stamp set was simply heat embossed with a white embossing powder and finally all the elements were assembled with a bit of dimension and a few clear sequins.

My second card features Newton’s Donut stamp set!

Once again I die cut with the coordinating dies, stamped and watercolored the cute kitty using Bristol paper and Zig markers. Then I prepared a scalloped frame die cutting it with new Framework Die set from a watercolor paper. Fun light blue splatters were added by smooching Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink and adding some water droplets on top. I also stamped little sprinkles and once dried the matching sentiment from the same Newton’s Donut stamp set!

Last but not least, I decorated a light pink card base by repeatedly stamping small donuts with a matching light pink ink and put all the elements together.
