You're Just My Type #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - My Type stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Today we have two small, but not less adorable stamp sets called My Type and Candy Heart. Both new sets come with the coordinating dies.

Giveaway alert!! NND is giving both stamp sets away to a lucky winner so make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this post to see how to win!

My first card features My Type stamp and die sets!

You're Just My Type #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - My Type stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

To start, I die cut the typewriter from Strathmore Bristol paper using My Type Die Set and stamped the coordinating image from My Type stamp set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink since it doesn’t smudge when used with water. Next I did a super simple coloring using Tombow markers: n.N25, n.N60, n.452, n.703, n.772.

I prepared the sentiment element using the same My Type set and a speech bubble from Newton’s Day Dream stamp set.

For the background I die cut a stamp edge frame from Framework Die Set on a piece of a white cardstock and a big heat from Darling Hearts Die Set on a masking paper. Next I applied the negative part of the heart mask towards the center of my card and inked it with a light pink ink. Before removing the mask, I tape on top Tumbling Hearts stencil and inked the heart window once more creating a pattern on top. Finally I could reveal the mask and pop all the elements on a foam tape for a bit of dimension.

Creating my second card, I decided to stretch more Candy Heart stamp and die sets and created entire project using only this small bundle.

Candy Heart Die Set is done in a very clever way and has the shaped heart matching the heart stamp from Candy Heart stamp set plus another simple heart die. I used the second one and repeatedly die cut it on a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock that was previously inked with Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress inks. Next I trimmed and scored in half a regular A2 size card base from a bright pink card stock. I placed the negative part of the die cut panel to the card base and marked all the heart windows with a pencil. Finally I heat embossed different sentiments from Candy Heart stamp set with a white embossing paste directly on the card front, erased all the pencil lines and popped the die cut panel on top. A few matching sequins finished this card.

Crafting Desert Divas – March Release Replay – Hitched

Hello and welcome!

Sharing today another look on sooooooo adorable Hitched stamp set from the Craftin Desert Divas March Release!

Now & Forever #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Hitched Stamp Set by Craftin Desert Divas #craftindesertdivas

I just loooooove these cute images: elegant, romantic and cute at the same time. Really perfect for wedding and anniversary projects. And so I grabbed another just married couple from Hitched stamp set and as always stamped with a copic friendly black ink on Neenah Solar White paper, colored with copic markers and then fussy cut leaving a little white border around.

Now & Forever #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Hitched Stamp Set by Craftin Desert Divas #craftindesertdivas

Next I started working on the background and built a sunset scene on a stitched rectangle from Fancy Frame Dies set. I masked the sun rays with two pieces of a sticky tape and added color with Distress Oxide inks and an ink blending tool. Where available I provide direct links to all the products I used on the project along with a complete list of colors at the bottom of every post. Once added the sentiment from Simply Said set, I was ready to assemble everything. I “grounded” the couple in the car on a matching stitched border die from Fall Border Dies set and added some dimension adhering the elements on a foam tape. The last finish touches were shimmer pen and a few clear sparkling sequins.

Crafting Desert Divas – March Release Sneak Peek – Hitched

Hello and welcome!

I’m super excited to be on the Craftin Desert Divas blog today with a daily post featuring brand new and sooooooo adorable Hitched stamp set from the Craftin Desert Divas March Release.

All the products from the CDD March release will be available for purchase on Friday March, 9 at Craftin Desert Divas online shop.

Always & Forever #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Hitched Stamping Set Set by Craftin Desert Divas #craftindesertdivas

I’m sure you will fall in love with the new romantic stamp set that I’m sneak peeking today! All the images from Hitched stamp set are so fabulous, elegant and dreamy! And so I went with a clean and simple design, making a focus on the stamps and coloring.

Always & Forever #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Hitched Stamping Set Set by Craftin Desert Divas #craftindesertdivas

Want to recreate this cute card? Nothing more easy! Just follow the step by step tutorial I’m leaving you with.

  • Take a piece of a masking paper, trace a heart shape with a pencil and cut the heat window with scissors or an exacto knife.

  • Trim a rectangle from a white cardstock slightly smaller than A2 size card base (5″ x 3¾”) and place the negative part of the mask with a heart window on top.
  • Add Distress Oxide ink in Picked Raspberry color with an ink blending tool.

  • Then add and fix on top Hearts Galore stencil without lifting up the mask and add more color through the stencil.

  • At this point remove both the stencil and the mask and set everything aside.
  • Stamp the image of your choice from Hitched stamp set with a copic friendly black ink on a copic friendly paper, proceed with coloring and fussy cut it leaving a little white edge around. I’m leaving all the exact copic markers I used here at the bottom of this post.
  • Start assembling the card by preparing an A2 size card base from a light gray cardstock, stamping the sentiment from Simply Said set with the same black ink you used before for a perfect match and popping up some elements on a foam tape for a bit of dimension.

Crafting Desert Divas – January Release Replay – Get Well

Happy Friday!

It’s another release replay of the Craftin Desert Divas January reveals.

Get Well Soon #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Get Well Stamp Set by Craftin Desert Divas

Today I’m sharing a clean and simple card featuring adorable Get Well stamp set! This is my “boy” take on this cute stamp set. (In case you’ve missed the “girl” version, you can catch it up right here.)

Get Well Soon #handmadecard by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Get Well Stamp Set by Craftin Desert Divas

I grabbed and stamped a few cute images with a copic friendly black ink on a copic friendly paper as my intention was to color with copic markers, of corse. Scroll down towards the bottom of this post in case you are interested to find all the exact colors I used here. Then I fussy cut all the colored stamps leaving a little white edge around and started working on the card base. I die-cut twice the medium circle with Inside Scalloped Circle Die set: once on the edge on a white cardstock and then from a masking paper. I used the negative part of the masking paper to mask the circle directly on the card base while I was adding a light yellow ink blended background with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink and some dots with a regular white embossing paste through Sorted Shapes Stencil. Once the embossing paste was dry, I started assembling the card, giving a bit of dimension with a foam tape and added a heat embossed sentiment from Simply Said stamp set.

That’s all for today! Hope you like this cute and simple card! As always thanks so much for stopping by and have a fabulous week-end!!!
