Gnome for Christmas SugarCut
And here’s what I came up with for you today! To start, I die cut a bunch of shapes using Gnome for Christmas SugarCut from Strathmore Bristol paper and then stamped the coordinating images from Gnome for Christmas stamp set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink, helping myself with the negative parts of the die cuts for a perfect alignment. Next I took my watercolor markers and a small water brush from Pentel and colored all the stamps.
In case you’re wondering, here’s the complete list of all TOMBOW markers used on this project: N79, 036, 055, 076, 090, 133, 177, 528, 533, 837, 845, 847, 873, 905, 942, 977 plus ZIG CLEAN COLOUR REAL BRUSH marker n.71.
The background was framed with a dotted rectangle die cut from Card Front Element Builder II. I used an inexpensive watercolor paper this time and my regular watercolors to make a splotchy night scene. I let it air dry and then added a few fun snowflakes through Geo Snowflake stencil with a white embossing powder. Pssssss! This is a little peek on a fun new product that will be released tomorrow. So stay tuned! Finally I could assemble all the elements by popping the background and all the colored stamps on a foam tape and adding a heat embossed sentiment from the same Gnome for Christmas set on a strip of a red cardstock.

Hello and welcome!!!
I have a chance to test new Solid Clear Mounting Stamps from Purple Onion Designs and put up a video review that you can watch below.
These clear stamps are perfect as a temporary mounting solution for unmounted rubber stamping. They come in two sizes: 4 x 6 inches or 6 x 6 inches. However they can be trimmed to fit any size you need. I had a chance to play with them more since I made the video review and I love them very much. They are sticky enough to keep rubber stamps in place for stamping and can be removed very effortless at the same time. I used to apply a tiny bit of temporary adhesive in the past, but this new clever product made my life easier and the stamping goes much quicker now and saves my time because I don’t have to worry about scratching temporary adhesive from the back side of the rubber stamps or from the acrylic blocks and can switch the rubber stamps quickly. 4 x 6 inches size is large enough to work with big background stamps that cover A2 size card front.
You can check the following posts and see more details and pictures on the cards I shared in the video. All the stamping on the projects I’m linking below was made with new Solid Clear Mounting Stamps from Purple Onion Designs.
You can find this sweet shaker card here.

Hello and welcome!
Today Newton’s Nook Designs is featured on the Simon Says Stamp site with an EXCLUSIVE stamp set that was designed just for the 2019 STAMPtember celebration!
You can purchase the new Newton’s Nook Let’s Pawty clear stamp set at Simon Says Stamp. Remember, this item is ONLY available through Simon Says Stamp while supplies last!
My card turned out quite clean and simple! I picked a super adorable kitty from Let’s Pawty stamp set along with a few birthday accessories, stamped and fussy cut them right against the stamp lines. Next I colored the images with copic markers and covered any imperfection due to the fussy cutting by brining a black brush marker across the edges.
And here’s the list of all the exact colors used on today’s project: COPIC cat W00-W0-W1-W2-W3-W5 plus T0-T3; YG0000-YG00-YG01-YG13-YG67; BG10-BG11-BG23-BG49; Y11-Y15-Y17-YR04; RV00-RV02-RV04-RV10.
A regular A2 size background made from Neenah Solar White paper was embellished through Confetti stencil with a white embossing paste for a tone on tone look. An additional stitched square die cut from vellum with Frames Squared Die Set was placed underneath the kitty along with a sentiment from the same Let’s Pawty set heat embossed on a strip of a black cardstock. A generous coat of a clear shimmer pen and a few matching sequins finished this project.
I hope you liked my project today using this new exclusive set. Remember, you can only get this design at Simon Says Stamp while supplies last! The Newton’s Nook Designs Team was also able to play along with this new set! Check out their blogs to see all their projects today:

Hello and welcome!
I’m super excited to be featured on SugarPea Designs blog today and to share with you a cheerful and bright friend birthday card!
I’m playing with two wonderful and one of my favorites You’re My Type and Meadow Motifs stamp sets plus some watercolor markers.
To start, I die cut the typewriter and a few floral branches and leaves using the coordinating You’re My Type SugarCut and Meadow Motifs SugarCut. I chose to work on Strathmore Bristol paper since it makes the blending with watercolor markers very easy. Next I stamped the outline images from You’re My Type and Meadow Motifs stamp sets with VersaFine Onyx Black ink since it’s waterproof. Finally I colored all the stamped elements with Tombow markers.
In case you’re wondering, here’s the complete list of all the colors used on this project: TOMBOW n.N79, n.133, n.177, n.835, n.845, n.847.
A regular A2 size card base was prepared from Neenah Solar White paper and embellished with some lovely and kind words from Everyday Sentiments stamp set. I used a very light gray dye ink this time both for stamping and flicking some tiny water droplets on top. Before popping the colored stamps on a foam tape, I added a sentiment from You’re My Type stamp set with the same black ink used previously for stamping. A few clear sparkling sequins added a final touch to this colorful card.
That’s all for today! Hope you like this birthday friend card and give it a try! As always thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!!
