Hello and welcome!

Today I wanted to give you a look at wonderful new Follow Your Dreams stamp set from SuagrPea Designs April release along with a few inspirational ideas and the ways you can use it for your projects! Follow Your Dreams set has some amazing big sentiments set paired with lots of geometric small stamps that allow you to create infinite number of patterns. Plus no coloring is needed with this stamp set and that makes all your projects super quick and easy.

To start, I prepared three card bases from Neenah Solar White paper and stated by using a small stamp with a triangle pattern. I chose mint and light pink dye inks to fill the whole card front. Next I added a big bold sentiment in the center and highlighted the words with a brush stripe stamp and a brighter pink ink.

My second card turned out more colorful. I stated with a small stamp from Follow Your Dreams stamp sett hat reminds me rain drops and filled the whole card front using dye inks in a rainbow order. Next I added the same big sentiment that I used on the previous project and paired it with the matching small “they know the way” line. Since I want to keep the main focus on the sentiment, I added a few “+” signs stamped with the same black ink to give more contrast against the colorful background.

Next I went even more artsy and used the brush stroke stamp as a flower petal, creating a sort of watercolor flowers all across the card front. I also added the flower centers and some small dots here and there using a gold pigment ink. Finally I finished with a dark brown sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Today we are showcasing a brand new BEAUTIFUL and unique stamp set called BEAUTIFUL PLUMAGE along with the coordinating dies. Jen from NND did it again and designed a fantastic stamp set from the beautiful swirls series! There’s no need to tell that you have almost infinite options of use on your cards, tags, scrapbook pages and any sort of paper crafting projects! Stamp it, emboss it, color it with any medium or add color with ink blending technique!|

Giveaway alert!! NND is giving this stamp set away to one lucky winner so make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this post to see how to win!

And here’s what I came up with. I used the same idea and interpreted it with two different color media. I decided to make a spot coloring on my cards since it matches the “Be Colorful” sentiment in a perfect way!

My first card is a copic colored one. I started by stamping a peacock stamp from BEAUTIFUL PLUMAGE stamp set with a copic friendly ink on a copic friendly paper, of course, and then die-cut some circles. I added color in a rainbow order only to the circle areas and popped them up on a foam tape.

I decided to add the matching rainbow sentiment and choice some similar dye inks from my stash. I used a post-it tape for masking my sentiment stamp and inked only a few letters at a time! Finally I added a few simple plumage images stamped in black on the right side of my card!

My second version is a watercolor one. I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers to add color this time pared with a waterproof ink and a watercolor paper.

I did the same colorful stamping for the sentiment. Then I popped up the whole panel on a foam tape and added a double layer to the circle areas. Of course, I just couldn’t skip shimmer and so added a generous coat of Wink of Stella brush pen in clear glitter finish to both cards!

Thinking Of You Card (ft. Newton’s Nook Designs)

Thinking Of You #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Cottage Garden Stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Hello and welcome!

So happy you’ve joined me today! I’m bringing you this cheerful bright spring card featuring Cottage Garden stamp set from Newton’s Nook Designs! This set is just fabulous! It is filled with lovely images inspired by Scandinavian folk art and can be used in so many different ways! It’s great for stamping, no-line coloring and different techniques such as emboss resist, for example! It’s fantastic on kraft card stock, vellum and can cover almost all the occasions!

I’m not a great stamper, but this beautiful stamp set has really stolen my heart!  And so I decided to try a little bit of ombré stamping! The colors were inspired by amazing cottage gardens I saw on-line and the layout by the current Inky Paw Challenge!

Thinking Of You #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Cottage Garden Stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

I chose some pink, bright pink and violet dye inks for this card and started by stamping a bunch of beautiful flowers. Then while the ink was still wet I reinked the bottom part of my stamps with a slightly darker shade and stamped on top to create an ombré look and give a little bit of depth and interest. I repeated the same process with the flower stems using green shades and then simply added a few light blue flowers since they are so small.

Once finished with stamping, I die-cut all the elements using the coordinating dies that come very handy for this set along with a curved line from Newton’s Nook Designs Land Borders die set. I popped up on a foam tape almost all the elements and arranged them around the fence. The sentiment comes from the same Cottage Garden set and was simply heat embossed with a white embossing powder!

That’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by and for leaving me nice comments! I really appreciate your support!!!

Many Thanks #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Cottage Garden Stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

I decided to make a “thanks” card since there would never be enough in my stash and started by stamping with dye inks a bunch of flowers and leaves on a white card stock. My color choice was on pinky-peachy, orange and yellowy-green shades. Once finished stamping, I die-cut all the elements with the coordinating dies that come very handy for this set since it has so many little stamps with round shapes. I also die-cut a tag from NND Tags Times Two Die set and started arranging all the elements on a light gray base.

I popped up almost all the die-cuts on a foam tape to bring some dimension and a little extra something to the card, but if you are worried about shipping, you can definitely adhere everything flat. And finally I added a bow made out of a paper string and a few clear crystal drops from Nuvo.

Enjoy Your Day – Birthday Card Series

WP9 Enjoy Your Day 2016 (1)

Hello guys!

I finally found some time last Sunday and inked the beautiful stamps from WPlus9 Freehand Florals set that were dyeing in my stash and came out with a floral composition that you can see in the picture above.

WP9 Enjoy Your Day 2016 (3)

Perhaps the most difficult and time-consuming  part of the whole cardmaking process was a search of a perfect color combo among my dye inks as this stamp set is a layering one. It means that you need two or three different gradient shadings of the same color to stamp on top of each other. At the end of this post I’m going to share some combination that worked for me, I used Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamp’s dye inks so I think many of you have them too.

WP9 Enjoy Your Day 2016 (2)

Some elements on the card were die-cut and mounted on a foam tape; and some were stamp straight on the card base and created the underlayer. For the sentiment I used a black card stock as I feel like it brings more contrast and makes the sentiment stand out against the colorful flowers. A few sequins and a little bit of saddle shimmer finished this card!

As always thanks so much for stopping by and leaving me comments! I really appreciate it a lot!
