Hello and welcome!
Today I’m happy to take part at the 25 Days of Christmas Tags event hosted by the talented Tracy McNeely. We are on day 4 of this awesome feature so make sure you visit her blog each day to see all 25 days! And today it is also Newton’s Nook Designs feature day and that means you’ll see a lot of inspiration and tags made using the NND brand products!
I noticed that I made so many colored projects lately and that’s why I decided to change and switch to another favorite technique. In fact, today I came out with two holiday tags completely die cut from a few lovely NND sets. To start, I prepared the tag bases, die cutting the shapes from Simon Says Stamp Lipstick Red Cardstock using NND Fancy Edges Tag Die Set along with two patterned tag tops. In case you’re interested, I’m using Big Short Die Cutting Machine for many years and very satisfied with it!!!
Then I switched to the Christmas Wreaths. The holy leaves and pine branches come from NND Pines and Holy Die Set. I used two different shades of green to built the wreaths alternating Simon Says Stamp Green Apple and Bazzill Gumdrop cardstock.
The die cut sentiments are from Snow Globe Shaker Die (“Joy”) and Main Street Christmas Die (“Noel”) Sets. Both were die cut from a plan white cardstock first and then embellished with a sparkling layer from DCWV Glitter Metallic Cardstock pad. Assembling the wreath together I used Multi Medium Matte liquid adhesive since it dries clear and matte. As a final touch I added a few tiny gold droplets of Heidi Swapp Color Shin Gold spray that tied the golden sentiments together with the rest of the tags.
That’s all for today! Hope these holiday tags will inspire you!!! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic day!
Hugs,
Tatiana
