Hello and welcome!
I’m super excited to be featured on SugarPea Designs blog!!! Today I mixed and matched a few different stamp and dies and paired them on a cute and simple card with a bit of summer vibes and sunshine!
To start, I die cut some honey combs using Stacked Honeycombs SugarCut from Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock since it’s white and works great with Distress inks. I prepared an extended A2 size (5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″) white card base from Neenah Solar White paper and arranged the die cuts on the card front. I inked some combs with Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seeds and Fossilized Amber Distress inks and the blending brushes. I also added some tiny droplets both to the card base and the honey combs using Vintage Photo Distress ink and a plain white gouache to add more interest to the pattern. Before popping the honey combs on a foam tape, I simply stamped the matching sentiment from Hey Honey stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink using my MISTI tool.
The beautiful flowers and leaves were die cut from Floral Pocket Tag SugarCut. I worked on some scraps of a white cardstock and then added colors with Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Twisted Citron and Moved Lawn Distress inks using again he blending brushes. The cutest bees come from Hey Honey stamp set that I used before for the sentiment. I helped myself with the coordinating Hey Honey SugarCut to die cut quickly a few bee shapes and then stamped the bodies with Hero Arts Butter Bar dye ink. Finally I added the black stripes and wings to the bees using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and started arranging all the die cuts on the card front. A few clear sparkling sequins finished this cute and lovely project.
That’s all for today! Hope this cheerful and cute summer card will inspire you! As always thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Hello and welcome!
I’m so happy you’ve joined me today and even more excited to be on the Newton’s Nook Designs blog sharing a cute and sweet summer card!
Today I mixed and matched the adorable summer themed Newton’s Perfect Wave stamp set and more love/ San Valentine related Tides of Love stamp set that turned out to be really versatile and just amazing! To start, I die cut on Neenah Solar White paper all the shapes I needed for this project using the coordinating Newton’s Perfect Wave Die and Tides Of Love Die sets. I saved the negative parts of the dies and used them inside my MISTI tool for a perfect alignment while I was making the stamping with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I simply colored all the stamped elements with copic markers adding some fun dotted details.
And here’s the complete list of all the colors used here: COPIC MARKERS cat E0000-E000-E11-E13-E15 plus T1; E40-E42-E43; YR00-YR02-YR30-YR31; R000-R30-R32-R14; V0000-V01-V04; G00-G02-G05-G40-YG41;
The wavy background was added through Waves Stencil. I worked on Watercolor Cardstock from Tim Holtz and mixed together Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon Distress inks to create an ombré effect starting from the right bottom corner. I filled with a lighter hand the blank white spaced between the waves using the same shades of Distress inks and the blending brushes that allow to create easily a soft look. A few water droplets added some interest and water feel to the pattern. I assembled all the elements on an extended A2 size (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″) card base with a bit of dimension and finished with a heat embossed sentiment and few dimensional clear droplets.
That’s all for today! Hope you like this cute card! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fabulous day!
Hello and welcome!
Today is my turn to get you inspired for the SugarPea Designs monthly Mix It Up Challenge! I came up with a fresh summer card featuring Mermaid Kisses stamp set!
In case you want to play along, as well, here’s how you can do that: you have all month to play along and make a project using just the inspiration, just the sketch or Mix it Up and use both! It is totally up to you! You can find all the rules at SugarPea blog right here!!!
I kept it really simple today! To start, I used the coordinating Mermaid Kisses SugarCut to die cut the elements I needed for this project from Neenah Solar White paper. Then I made the stamping using Mermaid Kisses stamp set, Memento Tuxedo Black ink and MISTI tool. I colored all the stamps with copic markers and proceeded working on the background..
In case you’re interested, I’m leaving here all the exact colors used on the card: COPIC skin E50-E51-E53-E55; hair R32-R14-R35-R46-R89; BG10-BG11-BG23-BG49; YG01-YG05-YG07-G07; C2.
The background was embellished with faux dots by using the largest rectangle die from Card Front Element Builder II set. I masked a circle towards the left part of the card front with a piece of masking paper and inked the wavy water background inside the circle with Mermaid Lagoon Oxide, Blueprint Sketch Oxide Distress inks and the blending brushes. The waves were added by using the cloud edge of Outdoor Scene Builder Stencil. Finally I split the matching sentiment from Mermaid Kisses stamp set with a pair of sharp small scissors, heat embossed it on two narrow strips of a black cardstock and arranged all the elements on an extended A2 size card base with a bit of dimension. I generous coat of a clear shimmer pen gave a final touch to this card!
Hope you like this clean and simple card! Now it’s your turn to link up your creations for a chance to win a $50 Gift Certificate from SugarPea Designs! Can’t wait to see what you create!!! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!!

Hello and welcome!
I’m so excited to be part of the Newton’s Nook Designs 7 Year Celebration blog hop! You might come here from the talented Andrea Shell!
In case you don’t know, Newton’s Nook Designs is made up of a husband and wife, Jeff and Jennifer, team located in Southern Wisconsin. Newton
was their adorable sweet orange tabby cat and the inspiration for the name and logo. He became the namesake of the company since one of the first stamp designs that Jen sketched was a kitty just like Newton. You can find more about NND and Newton on their website
Since NND is celebrating their 7 year anniversary this year (Woooo-Hooooo!!!!! Congrats!!!!), the idea behind my card was to pick up 7 different kitty stamps and gather together the cutest purr-ty! To start, I die cut using the coordinating die sets and then stamped with my MISTI tool
all the adorable cats. I used Strathmore Bristol paper and VersaFine Onyx Black ink since both work great with water based markers. And here’re all the stamp and die sets used on this project starting from left to right:
As always, here’s the complete list of all the colors used on this project: TOMBOW MARKERS N75, N79, 055, 133, 452, 491, 703, 899, 985, 990, 991, 993.

Hello and welcome!!!
Thanks for joining me! I’m sharing a sweet and simple card with a bit of no-line copic coloring and super adorable stamps from Purple Onion Designs illustrated by Stacey Yacula!
I kept it really simple today and focused on no-line copic coloring! To start, I stamped Freckles Frog, Rock Set, Cat Tails, Scattered Flowers & Hush and Lazy River Background stamps with Memento Desert Sand Dye ink on Neenah Solar White paper using my MISTI tool. This type of dye ink is copic friendly and light enough to disappear under the colors. Making no-line copic coloring, I added some details paired with more bright strong colors on the frog and other elements placed in front of you to make them pop against the card base. While the background should appear lighter and less defined. The sentiment from Carnival/ Fair Blurbs was simply stamped with a gray dye ink and fussy cut along with all other stamps (except the background) using my sharp small scissors and leaving a little white edge around.
And here’s the complete list of all the markers used on this project: COPIC frog YG0000-YG00-YG01-YG03-YG63-G43 plus Y28 and E87; W00-W1-W3-W5-W6; C0-C1-C2; BG0000-B01; YR000-YR02-YR12-YR18; V01-V15.
Hope you like this cute and sweet card!
