Hello and welcome!!!
I’m keeping sharing more examples featuring new absolutely stunning “The Sweetest Little Town” collection of rubber stamps from Purple Onion Designs illustrated by Stacey Yacula!
Today I came up with a slimline card that recreates snowy holiday night and features Flannel (raccoon pulling sled with gifts), Street Light and Single Pine Tree stamps. To start, I stamped all the images on Copic X-Press paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored all the elements with copic markers and then fussy cut with my sharp small scissors, leaving a little white edge around.
Wondering about the colors used by me? Here’s the complete list: COPIC MARKERS C00-C0-C1-C2-C3; W00-W0-W1-W2-W3-W4-W5-W6-W7-W8; R30-R32-R35-R37-R39; B21-B24-B26; Y11-Y13-Y18; YG01-YG05; YG21-YG93-YG95; E40-E41-E43-E44.
The slimline card base was trimmed from Neenah Solar White paper at 8 1/2″ x 7″ size and then scored in half so that the final measures (when closed) are 8 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. I inked the night sky with Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks using the ink blending tools instead of the blending brushes for a juicy and vibrant look. The snowy or starry effect (as you prefer! LOL!!!) was created with plain white gouache. I diluted a small amount with water, deepened inside a small regular brush and flicked tons of splotches all across the card front. The snow hill was die cut from Newton’s Nook Designs Land Borders Die Set and popped along with all other elements on a foam tape.
Finally the “Wishing You A Christmas That Is Merry & Bright” sentiment from new Holiday Messages stamp set was simply added inside the card.
Hope you like this sweet holiday card and new amazing stamps from the Purple Onion Designs’ The Sweetest Little Town Collection!
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs,
Tatiana
