Hello and welcome to the final day of the Newton’s Nook February release! Thanks so much for hoping along with me throughout this week!

On my stop of this hop I’m sharing two spring cards. The first one is a watercolor project featuring beautiful flowers. To start, I proceed with heat embossing. I stamped wonderful Easter Lily with VersaMark clear sticky ink, sprinkled with a white embossing powder and zapped with my heat gun.
I die cut the image using the coordinating Easter Lily Die Set and proceed with watercoloring using regular watercolors I have in my stash.
The background was inked through Gingham stencil with Pumice Stone Distress ink and the sentiment from the same Easter Lily stamp set was simply stamped in the center of the card front. I also die cut an open white frame using Framework Die Set and started assembling all the elements with a bit of dimension.
As a final touch I added a few Nuvo Drops in Gloss White, Antique Rose, Rhubarb Crumble colors.
My second card is very simple with some bright and fresh spring colors! It was made using ONLY Hello Spring stamp set. To start, I prepared a round card base and cut away the curved branches from the top part of the stamp with my scarp small scissors so that I could stamp them a bit higher above the main image and then once again on the bottom part of the circle. I used a copic friendly Memento Tuxedo Black ink for stamping and colored the image with copic markers.
As always, I’m leaving the complete list of all the colors used on this card: T0-T1-T3; YR00-YR02-YR04; Y00-Y11-Y15; BG10-BG11-BG23-BG32; RV00-RV02-RV04-RV13-RV14; R20-R21-R22-R24; YG00-YG01-YG03 plus G07; V01-V04.
For the card base I die cut a slightly larger scalloped circle using a flower patterned paper, adhered the colored circle on top and finishes with a tiny bow and a few matching sequins.
