I’m really happy how my card turned out using Wheelie Amazing stamp set. To start, as usual, I made the die cutting using the coordinating Wheelie Amazing SugarCut and Neenah Solar White paper. Helping myself with the negative parts of the dies for a perfect alignment, I stamped the bicycle and the wheels using two shades of red and gray inks to create an ombré effect. The accessories were stamped with a copic friendly ink (I used Black Hybrid ink from MFT on this project) and colored with copic markers.

As always, here’s the complete list of all COPIC markers used on this project: R22-R24-R39; YG00-YG01-YG23-G07; E50-E53-E55-E57; Y32-YR24-YR27; W1-W4.

Next I prepared an A2 size (5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″) card base plus another rectangle trimmed slightly smaller where I applied a pattern through English Bond Brick Wall Stencil. I just loooove this stencil! It’s so classic and can be used for multiple occasions! I tried to give a bit of color to the bricks by mixing a plain white embossing paste with Vintage Photo Distress ink and a bit of texture by applying the embossing paste unevenly on top of the stencil. I let the embossing paste air dry before popping all the elements on a foam tape. Finally I heat embossed the sentiment from Wheelie Amazing set on a black cardstock and shaped in into a narrow strip using Sentiment Strip SugarCut. A few clear sequins added as a finish touch to this card.

  2. That brick stencil is the perfect size for making scenes on an A2 card. Love this cute new bike set in the colors you used.
