We are kicking off this week with amazing Tides of Love stamp set filled with the sweetest under the sea critters. This stamp set comes with the coordinating Tides of Love Die Set. Plus there’s a new Bokeh Hearts Stencil set.
My card turned out very colorful and bright! To start, I die cut a few fun fishes using the coordinating Tides of Love Die Set from Strathmore Bristol paper. Next I stamped the open images from Tides of Love stamp set using VersaFine Onyx Black ink since it’s waterproof and colored all the elements with water based markers and a small water brush from Pentel.
As always, I’m leaving here all the exact markers used on this project: TOMBOW 025, 055, 133, 173, 249, 373, 443, 665, 676, 679, 925, 947.
The background was inked with Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress inks through new Bokeh Hearts Stencil set. I worked on Watercolor Cardstock from Tim Holtz and played with different layers and water until I achieved the desirable result. I framed the watercolor piece using a stitched rectangle from Frames & Flags Die Set and arranged it on a regular A2 size (5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″) white card base along with a heat embossed sentiment that comes from Tides of Love stamp set. I popped the fishes on a foam tape and finished with a few clear sequins.
