The first day has reserved us amazing Christmas Trimmings stamp set and you can also get the coordinating Christmas Trimmings Die Set. Then we have a small, but not less adorable Holiday Lights with the coordinating dies and two new wonderful holiday stencils: Ornaments and Light Strings.

Giveaway alert!! NND is giving away Christmas Trimmings stamp set to a lucky winners so make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this post to see how to win!

And here’s what I came up with today playing with wonderful Christmas Trimmings stamp and die sets. To start, I die cut the cute girl decorating the Christmas tree and a few gift boxes with the coordinating Christmas Trimmings Die Set. I don’t mind fussy cutting, but when you work with multiple images the coordinating dies come so handy and make the life much easier. I used Strathmore Bristol paper and VersaFine Onyx Black ink to stamp the outline images from Christmas Trimmings stamp set. Finally I colored everything with watercolor markers.

As always I’m leaving you the complete list of all the colors used here: TOMBOW n.N79, n.055, n.133, n.195, n.452, n.847, n.899, n.905, n.912, n.933, n.946.

The background was made on Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor cardstock. I inked a rectangle piece at an angle with Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress inks using Mini Blending Tools and then added some water droplets with Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer for a more playful look. Once died, I applied Ranger White Texture Paste through amazing new Ornaments stencil and let everything air dry before assembling the card.

My second card features Holiday Lights stamp set, the coordinating Holiday Lights Die Set and Light Strings stencil.

To start, I used the same Strathmore Bristol paper and VersaFine Onyx Black ink. I made the die cutting first with Holiday Lights Die Set, saved the negative parts of the die cuts and used them into my MISTI tool for a quick and easy stamping. Then I colored all the lights with Tombow marker n.055 and set them aside to air dry.

Meanwhile I applied Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress inks on three different pieces of clear plastic, spritz them with water from Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer and smooched the inks against Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor cardstock. I heat set everything. Next I used fantastic new Light Strings stencil set. I added light strings through the layer #1 with a silver metallic embossing paste and then the light bulbs through the layer #2 by mixing Ranger White Texture Paste with Fossiled Amber and Wild Honey Distress inks. For the card front I die cut a curved stitched line with NND Land Borders Die Set where I simply stamped the matching sentiment from Holiday Lights stamp set. As a finish touch I added a generous coat of Glossy Accents.

Would you like to win the “Christmas Trimmings” Stamp Set? This stamp set will be given away to ONE lucky winner!
