Hello and welcome!!!
Fall is my favorite season and so I was inspired to make something very cute with a pop of bright and happy colors. I flipped through my stash and chose a few sweet stamps from Purple Onion Designs for this autumn project.
In case you’re unfamiliar with unmounted rubber stamps and how to used them, please, check this post and new Solid Clear Stamps from POD that are meant to be used as a temporary mounting solution for unmounted rubber stamping.
I decided to keep everything clean and simple and just enjoy coloring the most adorable stamps with watercolor markers. To start, I stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink Scarecrow, Sunflowers, Hay Bale and Beach Grass #2 Large stamps on Strathmore Bristol paper. I used the same paper for the background, but switched to a softer gray dye ink to stamp the largest image from 2 Cornfields set and then framed it in a dotter rectangle die cut with Card Front Element Builder II SugarCut from SugarPea Designs. Finally I proceeded with coloring, keeping the background softer and adding more details to the main images.
As always, I’m leaving you the complete list of all Tombow markers used on this project: n.025, n.055, n.076, n.090, n.126, n.133, n.451, n.476, n.555, n.933, n.946, n.947, n.977, n.992.
Before assembling all the elements together, I simply stamped “Happy Fall” sentiment from Sweet occasions Sentiment Set with the same VersaFine Onyx Black ink for a perfect match. A few sequins added some sparkle and finish touch to this sweet card.
That’s all for today! Hope you like this cute and simple card! And as always thanks so much for stopping by!
