And here’s what I came up with for you today! To start, I die cut some elements from Sweet As Pie SugarCut on Strathmore Bristol paper and then stamped the coordinating images from Sweet As Pie stamp set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. I always save and use the negative parts of the die cuts for a perfect alignment into my MISTI stamping positioning tool while making the stamping. Finally I colored all the stamps with watercolor markers.

As always, I’m leaving you all the exact colors used on this project: TOMBOW N75, 055, 090, 126, 133, 925, 933, 946, 947, 985, 991.

The background made from a kraft cardstock was embellished with amazing new Leaf Cover Plate. I used it for a tone on tone dry embossed pattern. The sentiment from the same Sweet As Pie set was simply stamped on a piece of a white cardstock. Assembling all the elements together I wrapped a matching orange baker twine and cut out a fish-tail banner from Countryside Charm Patterned Paped Pad. A few sequins added a finish touch to this autumn card.

  1. I like the twine and fishtail sentiment the most! I like how it draws you eye up to pie!!! That leaf die is magnificent as a dry embossed image! Those tombow markers really pop!

  2. Very playful card. Coloring looks like a sunny fall day. Silly me thought the sentiment was in a different language until I read it upside right. Tee he. Nice job.
