Hello and welcome!
Today is my turn to get you inspired for the SugarPea Designs monthly Mix It Up Challenge! I came up with a lovely and sweet floral card featuring Meadow Motifs stamps set!
In case you want to play along, as well, here’s how you can do that: you have all month to play along and make a project using just the inspiration, just the sketch or Mix it Up and use both! It is totally up to you! You can find all the rules at SugarPea blog right here!!!
I started with Strathmore Bristol paper, VersaFine Onyx Black ink and MISTI tool. I arranged the stamps from beautiful Meadow Motifs on the lid of the stamping positioning tool and stamped all the flowers and leaves at once. I fussy cut all the elements with a pair of sharp small scissors, leaving a little white edge around and colored them with Tombow markers.
As always I’m leaving you all the exact colors I used here: TOMBOW n.133, n.452, n.491, n.533, n.535, n.565.
The card front was inked through Spirograph Mandala stencil with Peacock Feather Distress Oxide ink and framed with a scalloped rectangle die from Card Front Element Builder set. I also die cut a circle window in the center of the inked pattern using Zig Zag Stitched Circles. At this point I started assembling all the elements on a regular A2 size card base, popping them on a foam tape. Finally I prepared a heat embossed sentiment from Everyday Sentiments stamp set and cut it out using Sentiment Strips SugarCut. A few matching sequins added a finish touch to this project.
Hope you like this lovely and sweet card! Now it’s your turn to link up your creations for a chance to win a $50 Gift Certificate from SugarPea Designs! Can’t wait to see what you create!!! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!!
