Hello and welcome to Day 1 of our SugarPea Summer Product Release!

I hope you’ll join SPD Design Team over the next 5 days because we’ll be sharing Sweet Peeks for the products that will be available for purchase starting this Friday, June 21th at 6 PM EST in the SPD Store.

Each day will be full of inspiration, and as always, you’ll have a shot at winning one of FIVE GIVEAWAYS!  All you need to do is leave a comment for your chance to win.

**Please note that links to our store for these new products will not go LIVE until 6PM EST on June 21th.**

Today’s Introductions include… beautiful Meadow Motifs stamp set filled with lots of wonderful flowers, leaves and branches that will allow you to created infinite designs and the coordinating SugarCut Meadow Motifs; gorgeous Everyday Sentiments (I’m totally in love with the variety of greetings and adore the perfect size of the font) that coordinates with SugarCut Sentiment Strips useful for quick die cutting of all the sentiments; finally there’s an amazing Spirograph Mandala Stencil.

And here’s what I came up with for you today! To start, I stamped a bunch of images from Meadow Motifs stamp set on Strathmore Bristol paper with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. Next I fussy cut them and used watercolor markers and the small water brush from Pentel for coloring.

In case you’re wondering, these are the names of Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers from Tropical Fiesta Set that I used here: Purple Wine, Fresh Lemon, Sweet leaf and Lime.

Next I decided to stretch Everyday Sentiments stamp set. First, I heat embossed a friend greeting on a piece of a black cardstock and die cut it with the coordinating SugarCut Meadow Motifs. Next I picked another couple of matching sentiments and stamped them randomly on a dotted panel die cut from Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock with Card Front Element Builder II Die Set. I used Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink both for stamping and some ink blending on top of the stamped words. Since I want to add more artsy look to my background, I flicked a few water droplets along with some tiny splotches of a shimmer spray and some colorful spots on top.
