Hello and welcome!
I’m super excited to be featured on SugarPea Designs blog today and to share with you a colorful and bright project!
I’m playing with amazing Honeycomb Cover Plate big enough to fill the full A2 size card base and a juicy rainbow pattern. Curious?! So, please watch the video below!
The watercolor background was made on a cold pressed watercolor paper from Arches. I applied the colors from Altenew Tropical Fiesta Marker Set directly on the paper laying them in rainbow order and then spread the ink with a brush and some water.
Once dried, I ran back and force a few times the rainbow background and Honeycomb Cover Plate in my die cutting machine. I secured all the tiny die cut pieces with Press’n Seal, flipped the background and popped every single honeycomb on a piece of a foam tape. Finally I transferred the whole pattern on a regular A2 size white card base and pulled off both Press’n Seal and the negative part of the die.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!!
