Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the Newton’s Nook Designs February release! So happy you’ve joined me today!
All the new February products will be available for purchase on Friday, February 15th at Newton’s Nook Designs online store and other craft retailers!
I’m so excited to introduce you a super adorable Woodland Spring stamp and die sets! You know that I’m a great fun of all the cute critters!
I started working with Neenah Solar White paper and made all the die cutting using Woodland Spring Die Set. Next I stamped the coordinating images from Woodland Spring stamp set using a copic friendly black ink. Finally I colored all the elements with copic markers.
Here’re all the exact colors I used on this project: W00-W1-W3-W5; E30-E31-E33-E35-E37; YG00-YG01-YG03; RV00-RV10-RV02-RV04; BG23-BG15; Y0000-Y00-Y21; YR12.
I love building scenes and NND has a few fun die sets perfect for this aim. I prepared all the elements die cutting trees from Forest Scene Builder Die Set and some hills from Land Borders Die Set. Next I inked all the elements with Distress inks: I used Twisted Citron for the grass portion, Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers for the sky, Antique Linen and Vintage Photo for the trees. Finally I heat embossed the sentiment that comes from the same Woodland Spring stamp set and added a bit of clear shimmer to some elements as a finish touch.
