Newton’s Nook Designs and Therm O Web Inspiration Week

Hello and welcome!

This week Newton’s Nook Designs and Therm O Web are partnering for a fabulous inspiration week! All week long both design teams will be sharing ways to add fun foils and more to your cards using Therm O Web products with Newton’s Nook Designs stamps! There are prizes too! Read all the way to the end of this post to find out how you can win!

And here’s what I came up with! I mixed and matched a few fun goodies from both companies and played with some new to me products!

I started with Winston’s Home For Christmas stamp set and the adorable bear in the car filled with lots of holiday stuff that was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink on a piece of a watercolor paper along with a part of the matching sentiment (the word “Christmas was cut apart) and then colored with regular watercolors. Next the whole piece was framed with a scalloped die from Frames & Flags die set.

Then came a fun part as I took a piece of Deco Foil Clear Designer Toner Sheet and added on top my out design through Petite Snow stencil using the Deco Foil Transfer Gel and once dried foiled it with Silver Deco Foil by Therm O Web and a hot laminator. And wow!!! I turned out perfectly!!!! Next I scored a regular A2 size card base and cut out a window inside the front part with Framework die set, adhered my silver snowy pattern from the back side and covers the edged by another die cut frame. Last but not least I decided to add more sparkle die cutting the big word Christmas from Holiday Greetings die set and using Toner Sheets instead of a regular paper so that I cam run it through a heat laminator with a Red Deco Foil.
