Here is what I created:

Feeling Slothy Need Coffee #handmade card by Tatiana Trafimovich #tatianacraftandart - Slothy Coffee stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

New just released Slothy Coffee stamp set was so perfect to play with. I die cut using the coordinating Slothy Coffee Die Set the cute sloth in the coffee cup from Strathmore Bristol paper, aligned the negative part of the die cut into a stamping positioning tool and stamped the image with VersaFine Onyx Black ink since it’s waterproof. The fall twist to the card gave some pumpkins from Harvest Tails and a few falling leaves from Newton’s Cornucopia stamp and die sets. All the stamped elements were colored with Tombow and Zig markers which exact list I’m leaving here:

TOMBOW MARKERS: n.090, n.126, n.885, n.912, n.946, n.990, n.991, n.992.
ZIG CLEAN COLOUR REAL BRUSH MARKERS: n.41 Light Green, n.50 Yellow, n.52 Bright Yellow, n.70 Orange, n.71 Flesh Colour.

The background was made from a watercolor paper trimmed slightly smaller than an A2 size card base. I added some water washes with regular watercolors using the same color range and I used previously on the stamps. Finally the sentiment from the same Slothy Coffee set was simply stamped on the watercolor panel and all the elements were assembled with a bit of dimension.

  1. Great card! That little sloth is really growing on me, especially paired with that sentiment. Love how you added the pumpkins and leaves for a Fall feel.

  2. Love everything about your card…the sloth in the teacup, the beautiful background, the pumpkins and the way you anchored everything with the washi tape. Thanks for the inspiration.

  3. Tatiana, I really like all the gourds that you so creatively placed behind the slothy who needs himself some coffee! What a great card and when you placed the black accents stripes on your card, it really draws the focus up; such a good idea. It’s a winner! TFS!

  4. This is SO bright and lovely. Your creativity is so very inspiring. I am such a Newton lover, and you really did an amazing job to inspire us all.
    Blessings,
    Karen Letchworth

  5. Oh my goodness every time I see that Sloth I love him a little bit more. Your card is just lovely with those wonderful watercolour washes in the background.

  6. Truly love all the elements here. The sloth, the colours, the watercolour background…just a lovely card 🙂 Thanks for the inspiration!
